Real talk: Cut the hole.

If you have been brave enough, curious enough, moved enough, stirred enough, to read my writings, these last days, you should, by now, be wondering either:

What is Jaybird, so fired up about?

What is Cassandra, so angry about?

Why is April 1st, so important?

What’s all this talk of, broken pieces?

Why, do I find that Cassandra’s talk of broken pieces, are, in fact, touching YOUR broken pieces?

Ah!

SUCCESS!💃

I have led you, here, right here, in order to get you to see, acknowledge, and FEEL, your broken pieces.

We, ALL of us, are walking around, broken, with broken pieces. Some have more, broken pieces. Some, are completely broken. Some, are cracked open. ALL, have been broken, by something:

By, life happening.

By, circumstances.

By, sin.

By, the hands, of others.

By, our own hands.

God, Life, and Jaybird have been:

In, your face.

In, your business.

In, your life.

Relentlessly:

Digging.

Challenging.

Entreating.

Praying, for.

Calling out, for.

Me.

You.

They, these wonderful, stubborn, relentless Friends, are just trying to get us, to:

Peace.

Freedom.

Healing.

They, remind me, of the story in the bible, where three friends, trying to get another, to Jesus, for healing.

The crowd was too much. Desperate, they climbed upon the roof, cut a hole, lowered their wounded friend, before, Jesus, for healing.

When Jesus, saw the faith, OF THE FRIENDS, He, healed, the friend.

Sometimes, you just gotta do, what you just HAVE to do. To get, to:

Healing.

Growth.

Love.

Jesus.

I love me, some Jesus.

He did not want to, need to, give up His:

Dignity.

Humanity.

Purity.

Upon, That Tree, The Cross.

He did so, because, Sometimes, You(Jesus) just gotta do, what You(Jesus) just HAVE to do. To get, to:

Healing, for a friend.

Healing, for you.

Jesus came, to mend our broken pieces. Jesus came, to be The Restorer of The Breach. Jesus came, to seek and to save, the lost.

So, what in the fresh hell, has all this hollering about broken pieces, broken hearts, agonizing moments, heart-breaking moments, been about?

We have just been:

Climbing, the roof.

Cutting, the hole.

Lowering, your broken pieces.

To Jesus, for healing. Easter, is almost here. You, are almost, home.

Keep going. It shall be worth it, in the end. Don’t take my word, for it. Take His:

Luke 5:17-39- On one of the days while Jesus was teaching, some proud religious law-keepers and teachers of the Law were sitting by Him. They had come from every town in the countries of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was there to heal them. 18 Some men took a man who was not able to move his body to Jesus. He was carried on a bed. They looked for a way to take the man into the house where Jesus was. 19 But they could not find a way to take him in because of so many people. They made a hole in the roof over where Jesus stood. Then they let the bed with the sick man on it down before Jesus. 20 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the man, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

21 The teachers of the Law and the proud religious law-keepers thought to themselves, “Who is this Man Who speaks as if He is God? Who can forgive sins but God only?” 22 Jesus knew what they were thinking. He said to them, “Why do you think this way in your hearts? 23 Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or, ‘Get up and walk’?

24 “So that you may know the Son of Man has the right and the power on earth to forgive sins,” He said to the man who could not move his body, “I say to you, get up. Take your bed and go to your home.” 25 At once the sick man got up in front of them. He took his bed and went to his home thanking God. 26 All those who were there were surprised and gave thanks to God, saying, “We have seen very special things today.”

I have been arguing with Jaybird, with God, with Life, with my friend, Howard.

Me: What possible good can, will MY words, have? I am:

Unseen.

Unknown.

Unheard.

They: Not, by us. Keep going. Too many are bound:

Reach out, to them.

Love, them.

Pray, for them.

Be there, for them.

If you hear nothing else I will ever say, hear these words:

God SEES, you. God LOVES, you. God, CARES DEEPLY, for your life.

Your life matters, to God, Your Father. Your life matters, to Life. Your life matters, to Jesus. Your life matters, to me.

Let Him, have your broken pieces. Time to climb the roof, cut the hole, and lower yourself, your family, your friends, your enemies, down for some healing.

You had best believe, if you are reading these words, I love you and care for your life. YOU matter to me.

His servant and your friend,

Cassandra

P.S. No idea what I am doin’ but startin’ me some hashtags.

Howard said these words need to be ‘viral’. I DARE someone to ‘Make it so’ as Captain Picard, always says. 🤷‍♀️
