No matter. I run from the little green correcting lines. I laugh 😂 at commas. I enjoy the writing rules. I enjoy, more, breaking them any which way I choose to be.

When I was given 60 days to relocate, find a car, move two households in two directions, find a place to live in a state I had never lived in, prepare to lose mom, start working ALL by myself…😳. Fear was not the word.

I was terrified. Horrified. Every ‘ied a person could come up with. And, to do so at my getting up there age!?😳😳😵‍💫🤯🥵

The worst thing that ever happened to me turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me.

I HAD to:

Grow.

Fight.

Learn.

Laugh.

Doubt.

Believe.

Discover.

Wonder.

Wander.

ALL those things, plus a billion more, led me to so many deliciously hard things I could do nothing but produce diamonds in my shoes.

Be encouraged, beloveds. If Life has dumped you in the middle of the wilderness…get ready for an amazing life. You can do this. You shall do this.

Note: It has taken my all to tell sad where to get off at today. Why? It’s Good Friday. If mom were alive it would surely be a good Friday. Mom loved Easter…*sigh*. Another holiday alone. Without her. Without others long passed. The older I get, the older I feel. So, I wanted to hide beneath a mountain of covers and fruit snacks.

I did. I haven’t. I won’t. Currently, I am preparing to get to work. Coffee waiting. Foot tapping to The Winans ‘Count It All Joy’. I am counting hard. Through this sad.
