The Lord has truly given me our mother back today. Remember how much difficulty I was having with her death? Well, Sharon found the Rummy notebook that had the final Rummy game between Mom and me. It was written in MY handwriting and then Sharon wrote on it that Mom had “wouped my butt” and it was dated 12/24/2016! That was the day Mom died…the day that changed every Christmas for me for the past six years. Isn’t that amazing?! I now have that notebook on my prayer altar next to my picture of Jeff, a mirror Elaine gave me with the Word all over it, and my postcard that had Jeff and my vacation on it from the year 2000. My altar also has a pretty mirror with the Lord’s Prayer and a picture of Marcus when he was a baby being held by our mother!
God is truly good. He has literally turned my captivity. Just like Job.
