I told impossible to go on head and kick some rocks! Ha!

I told impossible to go on head and kick some rocks! Ha!

NOTHING is too impossible for God, for Life, to handle.

Impossible?

HA!!

Go on head, impossible, and take TWO seats!

Go on head, impossible, and be gone.

You ain’t got NOTHING to say to me!

Ha.

HA!!!!

NOTHING shall stop your destiny.

Nada.

Nope.

Not gonna happen, beloveds.

So, wipe those tears.

Dry, those eyes.

Get ready, for blessing.

Get ready, for healing.

Get ready, for unconditional love.

Get ready, for rest.

Get ready, for peace.

Get ready, for joy.

In the meantime, beloveds, rejoice, live, love, laugh, hope, pray, say, stay.

Rinse.

Repeat.

I told impossible to go on head and kick some rocks! Ha!

Keep on going, beloveds. You really do got this. Yes, paragraphically, phonetically and writing rules, notwithstanding, you got this. I get such a kick outta destroying writing rules, at times, in order to make a point. Meaning, we can do what the world we want to with the words, with the words, we have been given!

Do you, beloveds.

Keep on doing, you.

Tell the critics to go on head and kick dem rocks!

Tell your fears to go on head and kick dem rocks!

Tell ALL that would be in your way to go on head and kick dem rocks.

Then, get to kicking some serious hind end and take names!

beating some world tail and laughing all the way to greatness,

Cassandra

No longer, do I.

Although, I wait.

I wait, no longer.

No longer, do I wait, for you to do, for me.

No longer, do I wait, for You, to do, for me.

No longer, do I wait, for Life, to do, for me.

Although, I am silent.

I am silent, no longer.

No longer, silently waiting, for you to speak, for me.

No longer, silently waiting, for YOU, to speak, for me.

No longer, silently waiting, for Life, to speak, for me.

No longer, do I.

I:

Speak, now.

Give, now.

Do, now.

Why, do I:

Speak, now?

Give, now?

Do, now?

Because, I can.

Because, I will.

Because, I must.

No longer, do I.

Do, you?

You can.

You will.

Hopefully.

nevertheless and however,

Meow: Embracing your inner kitty.

Something amazing, awesome, mind-boggling happened after I totally/completely/joyfully embraced my inner kitty.

I have found that some of the bestest, sweetest, funniest, most got it going onness, was locked inside that kitty!

Meow.

I have found, appreciatively, that true strength lies in being able to walk around, not giving one whit about apparent dangers, darkness and rough days.

I have found myself, strolling regally, slowly, blissfully, consciously, joyfully through all manner of fire, brimstones, meteors, quakes, shakes and whatsoever the next what the fresh hell is all this going on has gone on.

Has been of little, or no consequence, for me.

I have found I am the better for it.

For, I:

TRY, harder.

Love, harder.

Say, louder.

Say, prouder.

Stay, longer.

Live, better.

Live, no matter.

This kitty, in me, doesn’t wait for playmates. In fact, she fearlessly goes in search of playmates.

This kitty, in me, does not get discouraged by the discouraging things that discourage. She fails, laughs, then begins, again. Rinse. Repeat.

This kitty, in me, tells the tiger, also in me, to kick on back, relax, chillax, she got this…

YYAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSS!!!

See, the secret lies in the very fact that you don’t have to be full of bluster, always roaring your tiger self, trying to scare away the boogie man.

True strength, comes from knowing you don’t HAVE to be ‘strong’. You don’t HAVE to be the savior. You don’t HAVE to know everything or anything at all. You don’t HAVE to always be the one toting the hard/lonely loads/roads. You don’t HAVE to come bearing gifts to be accepted/loved/validated/appreciated.

Yea, this kitty, in me, knows full well that I be loved.

I AM LOVED!!!!

As, are you.

So, embrace the kitty, inside you.

Let him/her/they out.

Let them roam, freely, beloveds.

Let them discover the greatness, in each, first, then in/with others.

Nothing more satisfying, to me, this past while, then meandering through terrors, dark passages/terrains and not giving two damns. I know where I am going: Forward.

How about you?

here STILL,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Real talk: We only get one go around. Get going!

Yea, it’s me.

Back, better than ever.

Ever, ready.

Ever, steady.

Okay, so not quite feeling it.

Yet, here, I am, STILL.

STILL!

Ha!

Life is short.

Keep on going.

No matter what.

No matter how.

No matter who.

Laugh, at your challenges.

Tell your challengers, to bring it on, homie/homette!

Take your blows.

Give your own.

Then, get up.

And…

Get on with it!

Life is much, much, much too short, beloveds, to stop now.

Yea, it HAS been hard, of late.

Yea, it has been lonely, of late.

Yea, it has seemed awful impossible, of late.

Yet, it’s NEVER too late, so long as you have breath.

Soooooooooooo….

Get on up, now.

Get after it.

Be about it.

Somebody is fixing to give up.

Don’t let them!!

Tell them to keep on going.

We got this.

And, even when we don’t got this, we know God and Life has got this.

Get it?

They get you.

Do you?

Turn around now, beloveds.

Look upon ALL you have already conquered.

Take your bow, beloveds.

For all you have already accomplished and yet shall accomplish more.

No, it may not yet be what you thought or how you thought or when you thought.

You have kept going. When others have quit. You have fought when others gave up long time ago.

Get going, now.

NOW!

Be encouraged.

Be an encouragement, for others, to others.

Begin, with you.

Move on, to others.

We need each other.

here best as I can,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Do me a solid somebody…

Do me a solid, somebody…

I was scrounging to my positive sayings, trying to pick just the thing, scrounging around my brain, for just the ‘right’ thing to encourage somebody, to make somebody smile, to make somebody want to keep on trying.

Alas, I am a bit on the tired side, today, just a tad. I saved the world, you see, with The Avengers.

Do me a solid, somebody and give the rest of us something encouraging to read, to look at, to ponder on, to be about being about it with.

lemme know how it turns out,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Hahahahahahahaha!

Nuff said.

Hope all had an awesome day. Was super tired after defending the world from Thanos, with The Avengers. Picard and I roamed a galaxy or two after that. Work was slow enough to allow for plenty of coffee drinking, day dreaming, and eating of the rest of the mini cinnamon rolls.

What is a gal to DO, of an evening?

Hmm….

*Cassandra spies a few Kit Kats that apparently escaped last night’s raid.

Ha!

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Don’t forget to have a good laugh or two, a bit of a rest, a nice walk, something that will jump start your week….

It’s not your work to do: Letting go of the weight.

“It’s not your work to do.”

Best advice my big brother has given me, this year. That and chill and have a cup of coffee!

I had been internally stressing about this, lamenting about that.

He told me to chill, have a cup of coffee, and get out the way. Life will do what it do, it’s not my place to force my way, force my say, force what I think should/could/would happen regarding this and about that.

I listened, to my bro.

I listened, to my heart.

I listened, to God and Life.

Took a breath, closed my eyes, and let things go.

I stepped away from:

My, expectations.

My, perceptions.

My, reservations.

I gave myself the PERMISSION to allow life to play out the way it needs to. Oftentimes, beloveds, we view things from OUR life happenings, not the current happenings. We go by our limited world view, how we grew up, where we grew up, who we grew up with.

Then, seeing from a limited way, we pile expectation upon expectation upon expectation upon expectation until we are so weighted down and tired the day(s) seems endlessly hard.

The good news, beloveds, is that the same person who put on all that weight can remove it all:

YOU!

You just need to give yourself permission:

To, put it down.

To, walk away.

To, give over to others to do.

To, remove the ownership from shoulders that should have never carried the ownership.

It’s not your work to do, beloveds.

It’s not your job to be the savior for your family, your job, your friendships.

ALL you can do is the very best you can do for all. That’s it.

It’s not your job, beloveds, to be responsible for the outcome, to own what happens after you did your best.

It’s not your work to do.

Nor mine.

Am sooooooooooooooooooo thankful I put down the weight.

A good thing, also, as I have picked up a fair bit of actual weight stemming from emotionally carrying things not meant for me to carry.

*Cassandra eyes the last two mini cinnamon rolls*

Hmmm.

Hmmm?!

brb,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Put it down.

Put it down.

That worry you have.

Put it down.

That stress you are carrying.

Put it down.

The fatigue you have been feeling from running around the same mountain, in the same circles.

Put it down.

The weight that you carry from having to wait so long on that which you have been waiting for for so long.

Put it down.

The frustration you feel for not having gotten there yet.

Put it down.

The expectations that you have had for yourself that you feel you have not met or mastered.

Put it down.

The expectation you have had for your family, friends or others that you feel they have not met or mastered.

Put it down.

ALL your cares.

ALL your worries.

ALL your fears.

Put it down.

The day has ended. Let it end.

Breathe.

Let it go.

Put it down.

You are doing all that you know.

It is enough.

YOU are enough.

putting it down with you,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

You are…

Enough of lamenting all the things you are not, or think you are not.

Enjoy the life called you. This world is blessed by you, by all that you are, by all that you try and do.

The week is drawing to it’s end. Let it end and look forward to the coming days. It’s not how many days we have left, but what we do with the days we have left.

be well,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Say the hard things out loud: It’s okay to say I am afraid.

I didn’t realize I was afraid.

Not until, I admitted, out loud, I was afraid.

Not until, rather, I gave myself PERMISSION, to actually BE afraid, and to admit I was afraid.

My heart has been moving towards doing some outrageous things, some challenging things, some ridiculous things given my age(or so they say). The closer my heart has gotten to the edge, to doing the damn thing, the more I have felt, or tried to keep from feeling, the exhilarating, terrifying, what the hell am I doing, what if I fail feelings?!

I asked myself what would happen if I just went ahead and admit, to myself, that I WAS afraid? What would happen?

Hmm.

Hmm?

Chicken!

Not liking myself having called myself a fraidy cat, I took the dare and admitted, to me, that I was afraid:

Afraid, I may fail.

Afraid, I may succeed.

Afraid, I may lose.

Afraid, I may win.

Afraid, my dreams may come true and I wouldn’t know what to do with them actually realized.

Afraid, my dreams would never come true and I wouldn’t know what to do with ME after they were never realized.

I took the dare…

I said the words…outloud.

Outloud!!

Then…

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Then, my heart opened up…

Then, my mouth opened…

Then, out of my mouth came….

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!

Then, my heart and spirit BOTH said:

‘Who gives two hoots if any or all of those things happen? Who cares?!”

I thought and thought and thought. Thought and realized that I honestly do not give two damns about any of those things, now. Life is just too short.

I want to try.

I want to fail spectacularly so.

I want to uproariously laugh at my spectacular failures.

I want to eat double chocolate chip cookies as I laugh and blog to folk about how royally I messed up this, how grandly I nosedived on that. I want to chuckle about how far I fell, how much it hurt, how wonderful it was just to try.

Now, my heart races, not in fear, but in anticipation. I am no longer afraid.

Ha!

HA!

fixing to mess up some things and not giving two hoots,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Life is short peeps. Get on after it and mess up some things as well. Make it good so you will have some good stories to tell, eh?
