Anxiety has taken it’s last breath in my life.

Anxiety has taken it’s last breath in my life.

How do I know?

I choked that sucker out and watched it gasp it’s LAST, lying breath!

Ha!

Yes, beloveds, I was fed up, soooooooooooooooo very tired of anxiety making my hell by scaring the hell out of me with gloom, doom and woe.

Yall, I was tired of peering anxiously around EVERY corner. Enough, already!

I was soooooooooooo tired of being tired of running and running and running and running and running from imaginary foes, imagined catastrophes that seldom materialized. What’s worse, if they DID materialize they were much less daunting then initially feared.

Or, the things I was desperate to have, or to have happen, were things I thank the good Lord never happened! Whew!! Hallelujah!…..*shiver*….*Cassandra thinks of what may have been had she received that which she thought she just HAD to have*….yikes…egads.

One day, I FINALLY got fed up with feeding my fears, encouraging fear, forever commiserating and agreeing with anxiety, having coffee with doubts. Fed up, I fed these two fists to the face of anxiety!

POW!

Yea, anxiety, you ain’t comin’ ’round here no moe!

Let your friends know. Tell them this is one house best to be left alone. This heart just too large to contain one more second of your foolishness, your lies, o, you sly, dumb anxiety.

Ah, God, it feels good. Ah, Life, it feels fantastic being unburdened by that which need not have been borne, worn, carried in the first place.

*Cassandra throws her hands towards the heavens*

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Dance with me.

Celebrate with me. Then, if you have not yet told fear, told anxiety, told doubts to shut the hooey up and get on out of your, go ahead and do that then come back and celebrate. We shall dance on anxiety’s grave, together.

dancing and free,

Jaybird
