Full stop.
You are NOT, beloveds, folks ER. Emergency Room. Called, whenever something has happened. Not called, when nothing is happening.
Dialed up, frantically, when stuff is up. Defeaning silence, when THEIR world is going on smoothly.
Yes, your whole life/world may be currently burning down. No matter, to them. Nope. You ain’t needed. So, YOUR needs not needing to be heard from from them.
Phooey on THAT, beloveds!
Your name does NOT have the word Kleenix nowhere near it. Nor, are you Kleenix to be discarded after folks have snorted and snotted all over your shoulder/life.
Yes, tell dem folks to go on ahead and take THREE seats.
Your life, matters.
Your needs, matters.
And, the answer is ABSOLUTELY when asked if you are being an inconvenience. At times, we are all an inconvenience. Life happens and not between the hours of you are bored and have nothing else to do so you have about ten minutes to spare only if the situation does not tax you too much and you feel like it and have utterly nothing else going on so may as well appear to appear benevolent but only if you get the credit and something out of it.
Phooey on that!!
Life a big dummy, I used to keep MY burdens to myself. I told myself the ridiculous foolishness that I did not want to ‘inconvenience’ anyone. I didn’t want to be a burden. I didn’t this and I sure don’t want to that. No matter that I was playing emergency room and letting folks bleed to death off my just cleaned up floor from the last person who had bled all over my life. In the interim, I graciously apologized for dripping my own blood upon the floor as I bandaged their wounds.
Ha!
Time out on THAT, beloveds.
Life is much too short for you to continually close yourself off from the care you need to keep going.
Take time, beloveds, to ensure you get your needs met. Let folks know when you need an ear, shoulder, hand, hug or whatever body part or parts you may need to impart some love and joy into your life.
I bet there are folks who have been waiting to lend you some of theirs and would love for you to receive.
Receive.
Put down your waiter’s tray and prepare to be waited on and cared for.
Let someone else wipe your tired brow.
Your turn.
Take a seat.
Tell folks who don’t give to you as well, to go on ahead and take two seats.
Rest, now.
Rest.
Let HIM take care of the rest. Okay?
resting in Him,
Me(Cassandra)
