I was carrying the weight of the world, on my shoulders. It was soooooooooo heavy.
I struggled.
I tried to carry it on my own.
I tried to keep from bothering God about this.
I told myself ‘I got this’.
I realized I did not got this.
In fact, this had gotten me, today.
I told wombie about it.
She carried it, for me.
She let me speak about it.
She let me worry, just a bit, about it.
Then, she made sure I took it to God and left it with Him.
I appreciated it.
I appreciated her.
She removed a pebble for me.
My shoulders felt as if the weight of the wide world was lifted up off my spirit.
I was no longer tired.
I carried on.
Minus a pebble.
Yet, that pebble had been weighing me down for quite some time.
I can breathe now.
Ah…
thankful,
Cassandra
