In battling with this heat, I have learned many thing about my tiny air cooler thingamajig.
It prefers, larger chunks. of ice. I have found the smaller cubes melt quicker. Meaning, I had to make more of them, using more of my day. After much experimentation, I have found freezing several glasses of water serves nice purpose of having large, circular, chunky ice which fits nicely into my tiny air cooler, thingamajig.
What’s more, I also figured out all I really need to do is to let the ice partially freeze, in said cups, then let those partially frozen, chunks, freeze in a freezer bag so I can get more cups freezing. Now, I have a nice surplus of frozen chunky ice.
Ah.
Aha!
In taking the time, beloveds, to experiment with how long this, that and the other thing, will take, I was able to allow enough time to do these things. In the end, I have more time to figure out what to do with the extra time I now have simply by taking the time to make better use of my time.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Life is short.
Use your time wisely.
Yet, don’t allow time to try and scare you into thinking you don’t and won’t have time to take some time to figure out the best way to maneuver through this thing called life.
Don’t let yourself get stuck in a box of having to do this, that and all the things the world will tell you are important.
You may find those ‘things’ are not quite as spectatular as previously billed.
This is why I sigh at so many chasing brass rings, rings in general, rubies, diamonds and so many material things they have lost sight of THE most important thing to covet: Time.
Tick.
Tick.
Boom, then time is gone.
The trick is in learning to leave your legacy in whatever length of time you are alloted.
Don’t, however, guard your time so jealously that you refuse to use some of it on doing what may be considered dumb and or frivolous. So what if it is frivolous to others? If you find amusement in the dumbness, by all means, get as silly as need be.
I can not tell you how much enjoyment I get in arguing with Jesus about what teams are going to make the NFL playoffs. Why? Because it’s fun. Did I learn anything? No. So what. Must we HAVE to spend our ENTIRE lives toiling at the alter of education? Nope.
In short, being/given time is short, I shall end here, shortly…hahahahahahahahaha.
I know. I know. I am wasting time playing around with the word time. We don’t have time for that, you say? Well, it’s MY time. Get gone then, if you want to take your time elsewhere. The point is, time is yours to use. In large chunks, or small segments, be sure to fill your time and days with love, joy, peace, hope and all kind of happenings and happenstances.
As for me and my house, I am being about that gnat life and filling my moments with as many moments with my fam and peeps, like you, as I can.

Forgive me, beloveds, I am in a weird writing space where I feel like playing around and talking like these young bucks have been talking in our training class. I find it fun to be working with folks in their early twenties. It’s amazing what they find important/interesting……*Cassandra makes a note to take some spare time to hang with more young peep to keep learning their strange ways*
