Quiet quitting.
Ghosting.
Appears folk have come up with colorful phrases to cover up ugly behavior.
There is nothing cute about ghosting, ie ignoring others because you are too afraid to be honest and let them know you are not interest or are afraid of taking a chance on life.
There is nothing noble about being dissatisfied with your job and choosing to do the bate minimum instead of speaking with your leadership to form a partnership where you can grow and benefit all around you.
Now, it seems folk are dissatisfied with quiet quitting and are now loudly doing, I forget the term, basically acting ten kinds of fools because they are unhappy with their life and job.
I have also been reading where young folks have abandoned saving and are blowing their savings, quitting their jobs and waiting for…
I don’t know what these folks are waiting for.
I have been horrified that many young women are proudly exclaiming they would rather be the side piece then the wife. They say, the cheating husband is cheating on the wife and not them.😳
Okay, I don’t believe I have to say this but apparently need to do so:
Get some act right!!!!!!!!!!
You are much too priceless then to be treating yourself and the world with such disdain. Love you. Love folks.
If you hurt, say so. Don’t hurt others.
If you need a shoulder, there are folks who could use yours. Lean on one another.
The party ends. All things do. What the heck yall going to do when the lights come on and yall are broke and have alienated the world with your disdain and dismissiveness?
Whew. Okay, we can return to original programming.
Life is short. Live it with intention. Do what you said you would do. Take the strings off folk. Start with you.
There is nothing quiet about quitting. Hang in there. Your life is not over. It’s just beginning. How do I know? You wouldn’t be reading these words.
