I’ve learned to dance, alone.
I always wished, there would be two.
You and me, together: free.
Yet, you never came.
I learned to dance, alone.
Just, me.
In learning to dance, alone.
I learned to find, MY stride.
My, groove.
My, song.
My, way.
Your steps, weren’t my steps.
And, my steps, even the mis steps.
Were steps, learned taken, with no fear.
I find myself, grateful.
For, in not being chosen.
To dance, alongside you.
I chose myself, insodoing.
Learned, how to dance, deftly/gracefully.
Gratefully.
Alone.
Yet, not.
As, God.
As, Life.
As, Jesus.
All dance, with me.
Yes, I’ve learned to dance, alone.
And, that’s more than okay, with me.
dancing alone and free,
