No longer on the outside looking in.

It’s just after midnight. I enjoyed my Sunday. I squeezed EVERY second, from it.

Each second, each moment, each drop, was priceless. It shall never return.

Now, as I sip on a cup of coffee, just past midnight, I look at my bed and continue to say “Not just yet.” I don’t want to let go. The day was so wonderful.

Yet, Monday beckons. It says, “I can do better than yesterday.”

We shall see, I reply.

I used to feel as though I were on the outside, of life. I felt like an:

Outsider.

Imposter.

Stranger.

Alien.

Alienated.

Unlovable.

Unloved.

By:

God.

Life.

The, world.

Family.

The, church.

The, community.

The, universe.

I wasn’t. All of them beckoned, to me. Reckoned, with me. Called out, to me.

I was just too afraid, to respond.

Why?

Because I was just too loud for the world and folk to handle. Yet, it was NOT me. It was THEIR fear of living as loudly as I appeared to live. Secretly, folk wished they had the courage to push past their fear of being ridiculed or rejected.

I learned to view myself through the eyes of those who didn’t know better. Now, I know better. I embrace, me. I love, me. I enjoy, me. Now, I hold the door open, for others.

Come in, beloveds. The universe welcomes you. This is your time. Do you. BE you.

Remember alway:

You are loved.

You are not alone.
