Me: I wore this yesterday.
God: Okay, so what?
Me: The neighbors may see.
God: Okay, so what? Didn’t you wash your walking clothes this morning.
Me: Yea, but the neighbors won’t know that.
God: Okay, so what? Do you even KNOW the neighbors?
Me: Well, no.
Me: I’m tired.
God: Okay, so what?
Me: No, I mean rrreeeeeaaallly tired.
God: Okay, so what? Do you plan on staying unhealthy?
Me: No!
God: Okay, so what NOW?
Me: Ah.
God: Aha!
*The Father gives Cassandra a kiss, a shove, and hand her her new kicks and tells her to be about her walk.*
I walk.
Who sez so?
God sez so.
My bod sez so.
My new kicks, who wants to show off to stairs and incline and the universe, says so.
Also, fingers are pointing, at the front door. Lemme scoot before fingers points me towards the bathroom for some chores.
I’m out.
Keep going, even when it’s hard. Especially, when it’s hard. You got this.
One step.
One step.
One step.
