Refill your heart.
You have given all you know to have given. Do something for your heart.
I spent a quiet afternoon, drinking coffee and thinking of my mom. I miss her. I used to push thoughts of her away. They hurt too much. Now, those thoughts bring me great joy.
I have spent a quiet afternoon, writing. Satisfying. Comforting. I have spent a quiet afternoon, wondering what the universe is thinking about me.
I have spent a quiet afternoon, listening to music I love that feels my spirit. My heart is being refilled. Renew. Transformed.
It’s important to refill. Refill your heart. Do some self maintenance. You don’t have to wait for someone else. Be sure to love yourself today. Take the time to rest. Leave the rest, to the universe to take care of.
I have been feeling my age, lately. I no longer wonder how many days I have left. I just use the day, to the best of my ability. I try to love as much as I can, in the day. I try to refill, as many hearts as I can, with encouragement and love, in the day. I don’t always feel, successful. I may not always be, successful. I try, anyway.
I think I hear another cup of coffee, calling for me. I think I hear some chocolate chip cookies, asking to be baked. I think I hear my stomach say, to refill it with coffee and cookies. Ah. I shall be off. Refilling, me. Praying, for you.
Being refilled/renewed,
Cassandra
