KEEP GOING.

KEEP GOING.

Beloveds.

You do not have to have everything figured out before you keep going.

You don’t have to know how the whole story ends.

You don’t have to feel strong every minute of every day.

Sometimes keeping going looks powerful.

Sometimes it looks like getting out of bed.

Sometimes it looks like trying again.

Sometimes it looks like resting because your body said, “That is enough for today.”

And sometimes it looks like admitting:

This is hard.

I have learned something about hard.

Hard can slow me down.

Hard can make me cry.

Hard can make me frustrated.

Hard can make me change the way I do things.

But hard does not get to decide that I am finished.

Neither does fear.

Neither does disappointment.

Neither does yesterday.

Beloveds, wherever you are today, don’t measure your progress against somebody else’s pace.

Look at YOUR road.

Look at what you’ve survived.

Look at what you’ve learned.

Look at how many times you thought you couldn’t—and somehow, you’re still here.

That matters.

So if today all you can do is keep going in whatever way you can—

KEEP GOING.

Rest when you need to.

Ask for help when you need it.

Cry when you need to.

Laugh when you can.

Pray.

Breathe.

Begin again.

But don’t confuse a difficult chapter with the end of your story.

God is still God.

And you are still here.

That sounds like enough reason to keep going to me.

loving me some you,

Cassandra

START FROM WHERE YOU ARE.

START FROM WHERE YOU ARE.

Beloveds.

Before this week starts asking anything of you, I want to say something that somebody may need to hear:

Start from where you are.

Not where you thought you would be by now.

Not where somebody else thinks you should be.

Not where you were before life changed some thangs.

Where. You. Are.

There is no shame in locating yourself honestly.

Maybe you are tired.

Start there.

Maybe you are hopeful.

Start there.

Maybe you are grieving something you cannot get back.

Start there.

Maybe you are excited about what comes next.

Start there.

Maybe you have absolutely no idea what comes next.

Start there too.

We spend so much time looking at the distance between where we are and where we want to be that sometimes we miss something important:

You cannot take the next step from an imaginary location.

You have to put your feet—or your wheels—where you actually are.

👩🏿‍🦼

And beloveds, that is not giving up.

That is getting honest.

There have been times in my life when the map changed without asking me.

I did not get to vote.

Life just lifed.

And I have learned that accepting where I am standing today does not mean I have agreed to stay here forever.

It simply means I know where I am beginning from.

Proverbs 16:9 says:

“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” KJV

My faith tells me I can make plans and still leave room for God to redirect the route.

And if faith is not your language, there is still a chair here for you.

You do not need certainty before you begin.

You do not need a five-year plan.

You do not need to know exactly how this turns out.

Sometimes you just need enough truth to say:

This is where I am.

And enough courage to ask:

What can I do from here?

Tomorrow we’re going to talk about keeping going.

But today?

Find your here.

No shame.

No comparison.

No pretending.

Just here.

Because here is a real place.

And real places are where real journeys begin.

🔑 Maybe the key is not knowing the whole route.

Maybe the key is being willing to begin from the place where your life actually is.

You matter to me.

Bring your here.

There is a chair for it too.

Sunday Morning with My Bestie and me.

Sunday Morning with My Bestie and me

You Don’t Have to Arrive Okay to Take the Chair

Beloveds,

Come on in.

There’s coffee somewhere nearby. ☕

Something soft is playing in the background.

My Bestie and me are already sitting here talking, and there’s a chair pulled out for you. 🪑

Not tucked under the table.

Not waiting to see whether you qualify.

Pulled out.

Because we were expecting you.

And before you start trying to explain why you’re late, why you look tired, why you haven’t been around, why your faith feels shaky, why you’re angry, why you don’t know what you believe anymore, or why you almost didn’t come—

sit down.

You don’t have to arrive okay to take the chair.

That’s what I want to talk about this Sunday morning.

Because somewhere along the way, some of us learned how to dress pain up before we brought it into the room.

We learned how to say, “I’m blessed,” when what we really meant was, “I barely made it through this week.”

We learned how to smile while grieving.

How to praise while confused.

How to show up while exhausted.

And sometimes we learned that if we couldn’t make ourselves look okay, it might be easier not to show up at all.

But what if you didn’t have to do that here?

What if you could come tired?

Come questioning.

Come believing.

Come doubting.

Come angry.

Come hopeful.

Come numb.

Come laughing.

Come crying.

Come not knowing what in the world you are today.

And still—

there’s your chair. 🪑

I believe in God.

I call Him My Father.

I love Jesus.

That is part of who I am, and I’m not hiding it to make this table more comfortable.

But I’m also not asking you to become me before I love you.

You don’t have to believe what I believe to sit beside me.

You don’t have to agree with everything I say.

You don’t owe me your testimony.

You don’t owe me an explanation.

You don’t have to prove that you’re trying hard enough.

You don’t even have to know what you think yet.

There’s your chair.

I think sometimes we confuse belonging with agreement.

They aren’t the same thing.

We can sit at the same table and have different questions.

Different answers.

Different histories.

Different scars.

Different faiths.

Different doubts.

Different ways of seeing this enormous, complicated life.

And still recognize the humanity sitting across from us.

Maybe that’s part of what love looks like.

Not fixing somebody before making room for them.

Not interrogating them at the doorway.

Not deciding whether their pain is acceptable.

Not requiring emotional unison before offering presence.

Just pulling out the chair.

Jesus did a whole lot of sitting with people.

People other folks had opinions about.

People carrying stories.

People carrying mistakes.

People carrying questions.

People who didn’t have everything figured out before they came near Him.

And that matters to me.

Because I certainly don’t have everything figured out.

I have questions for My Father too.

Some of them hurt.

Some don’t have answers.

Some may never have answers on this side of life.

Yet here I am.

Still loving Him.

Still talking to Him.

Still asking.

Still living.

Still making room.

So this Sunday morning, there is no performance required here.

If you had a wonderful week, bring your joy.

If life wore you completely out, bring your tired.

If you are grieving, bring the empty place.

If you’re angry, bring the anger.

If you believe, bring your faith.

If you doubt, bring your questions.

If you don’t know what you believe, bring yourself.

That is enough for the chair.

My Bestie and me will scoot over.

Coffee’s over there. ☕

And, beloveds, if you happen to see somebody standing near the doorway wondering whether there is room for them—

pull out another chair.

Maybe nobody needs our answers this morning.

Maybe somebody simply needs to hear:

There you are.

Your chair is right here. 🪑❤️

loving me some you

SATURDAY MATINEE

🎬🍿 SATURDAY MATINEE: THE COMPANY YOU KEEP

Beloveds,

Pull up a chair.

Popcorn first. 🍿

Today’s movie is The Company You Keep, starring Robert Redford, Shia LaBeouf, Susan Sarandon, Julie Christie and an ensemble cast that just keeps going.

And this one comes carrying a question I’m not going to answer for you before we watch:

How long does something we once did—or once believed—get to tell the world who we are?

Because people have histories.

People change.

People make choices.

People live with consequences.

And sometimes somebody discovers one chapter of our story and decides they have found the whole book.

Maybe they have.

Maybe they haven’t.

That is exactly why we are not deciding anything from the lobby. 😆🍿

Saturday Matinee has never been about me handing you the lesson before the opening credits.

We watch.

We pay attention.

We let people in the story be complicated.

Then we talk about what we saw.

No predetermined conclusion.

No homework.

No test afterward.

Just a movie, some popcorn, a chair saved for you, and whatever conversation follows.

🎬 Today’s movie: The Company You Keep

🍿 WATCH THE MOVIE HERE:

Grab your snacks.

Find your spot.

I already saved your chair.

Let the movie tell its story first.

Then we’ll talk.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO EARN REST.

Beloveds,

Today, I am not handing you another assignment.

I am not asking you to prove that you are healing, growing, believing, achieving, or holding everybody together.

Sometimes the holy thing is to stop.

Sometimes the human thing is to stop.

And sometimes those are the same thing.

Yesterday, I watched a movie simply because I wanted to enjoy a movie.

I did not demand that every scene become a message.

I did not make recreation audition for the right to exist.

I watched.

I enjoyed.

I noticed what I noticed.

And I rested.

That matters to me because so many of us have learned to turn even rest into work.

We evaluate it.

We justify it.

We ask whether we were productive enough first.

Nah, beloveds.

Pull up a chair.

Bring your questions, your certainty, your uncertainty, your faith, your lack of faith, your laughter, your tiredness, and the version of you that has absolutely nothing impressive to report today.

Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 KJV

That is part of my faith foundation.

If you do not share my faith, you are still welcome here.

I hope you find a place today where your worth is not measured by your output.

This week we are going to talk about beginning again without pretending the old beginning never happened.

We are going to talk about voice, agency, belonging, limits, laughter, and what it means to remain ourselves while life changes around us.

But not today.

Today, rest.

You matter to me.

🔑 Maybe the key today is realizing that rest does not have to be earned.

Come back tomorrow if you want to.

There will be a chair for you.

Asking for A Friend,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Like, comment, share, subscribe, or follow if something here gives you company — and if you do none of those things, you are still beloved.

Note: I love you, beloveds.  Be encouraged. You are enough. So, am I.

COME AS YOU ARE…

Come As You Are—There Is Room

Beloveds,

Friday finally got here.

And apparently everybody came through the door carrying something different.

One person brought joy.

One brought grief.

Somebody brought hope.

Somebody brought a blanket because this week has asked entirely too much already.

Somebody is laughing.

Somebody does not feel like laughing at all.

Somebody did something this week that may look tiny to everybody else but took everything they had.

And somebody barely made it to Friday.

Come on in.

You do not have to finish this week looking like somebody else’s version of okay.

That may be one of the hardest things we learn about doing life together.

We can share a room without sharing an emotion.

Your joy does not disrespect my grief.

My quiet does not reject your laughter.

Your need for company does not mean somebody else is wrong for needing a little space.

The person celebrating is not necessarily ignoring what hurts.

The person hurting has not necessarily forgotten everything worth celebrating.

We are human.

We arrive differently.

And maybe belonging was never supposed to require us to become emotionally identical before we could sit beside one another.

Some weeks end with answers.

Some end with victories.

Some end with plans.

Some end with us looking at the same unanswered mess that was sitting there Monday morning.

And some Friday nights the only thing we know for certain is:

I am here.

You are here.

And there is room for both of us exactly as we arrived.

No performance.

No emotional dress code.

No requirement that everybody in the room call this week good just because it is finally over.

We made it here differently.

That counts too.

So bring your joy.

Bring your tired.

Bring your quiet.

Bring the thing you are proud of.

Bring the thing you are still trying to understand.

Bring your popcorn if that is what kind of Friday you are having. 🍿

And if Life comes bursting through the door tonight carrying one more problem like it forgot to give us something—

I believe this may be the one thing the entire room can agree on:

Life.

Don’t.

😂

Happy Friday, beloveds.

Come as you are.

There is room.

HEART CHECK FRIDAY: YOU MADE IT. NOW TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF. ❤️

Beloveds.

Friday.

Come in.

Shoes off.

Bag down.

Phone somewhere you can’t hear every ding.

And before anybody starts telling me what they didn’t accomplish this week…

Nope.

Not tonight.

You lived seven days of your life.

That’s worth noticing.

Maybe this week was magnificent.

Maybe it was meh.

Maybe you spent half of it wondering what the fresh hell everybody was doing.

👀

Maybe YOU were the fresh hell.

We’ll discuss your Act Right later.

Tonight, sit down. 😂

There is something I’ve noticed about us.

We are quick to move the finish line.

We finish something and immediately ask:

What’s next?

We survive something and ask:

How quickly can I get back to normal?

We accomplish something and ask:

Why didn’t I do more?

Beloved.

Could you just be here for a minute?

Could you let Friday be Friday?

Could you acknowledge the phone call you finally made?

The boundary you kept?

The thing you tried?

The apology you offered?

The appointment you made?

The moment you chose rest instead of running yourself into the ground?

The laugh you didn’t expect?

The cry you finally let yourself have?

Those things count.

Your life is not made only of giant victories.

Sometimes life is coffee and a comfortable chair and realizing you don’t have anywhere you need to be for the next twenty minutes.

☕🪑

Sometimes that is enough.

Jesus knew how to sit at tables.

ABBA knows how to welcome children home.

The Father knows the whole week you just walked through.

The Holy Spirit knows when your soul needs quiet more than another word.

So we’re not going to fill tonight with words.

You made it here.

Take your shoes off.

Stay awhile.

The 🥜 eaters are somewhere in the back.

For once, they’re behaving.

I don’t trust it.

👀

But we’ll take it.

How’s your heart, beloved?

I’m glad you came home.

❤️

Unapologetically His.
Unapologetically yours.

loving me some you,
Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

THE CHAIR IS STILL HERE…

The Chair Is Still Here: Whosoeverwill…

Beloveds,

There is a chair beside me.

I did not put it there because I cannot sit alone.

I put it there because I have something I would like to share.

Love.

Friendship.

Conversation.

Truth.

Laughter.

Quiet.

The ordinary and extraordinary pieces of life that become a little richer when someone chooses to experience them with us.

The chair means:

There is room for you here.

🪑

You do not have to earn it.

You do not have to arrive with all the right words.

You do not have to agree with me about everything.

You do not have to hide the complicated parts of yourself before you sit down.

You do not have to promise that you will never disappoint me.

The chair is an offering.

Not a contract.

Not a debt.

Not a leash.

An offering.

And yet…

Sometimes I look at the chair and wish it were not empty.

💔

That does not mean I do not know how to be alone.

It does not mean I am incomplete.

It simply means I would sometimes like someone to choose the chair.

Not because I begged.

Not because I chased.

Not because I convinced somebody that I was worth sitting beside.

I would simply like someone to see the place beside me and think:

I would like to sit there.

But I have been thinking about the person standing across the room, too.

👀

Maybe they see the chair.

Maybe they even want to sit.

But maybe they remember another chair.

Maybe someone welcomed them before.

They sat down.

They trusted.

They unpacked pieces of themselves they did not show everybody.

And then they were hurt.

Maybe they were used.

Maybe somebody wanted what they could provide but was not particularly interested in who they were.

Maybe their kindness became an expectation.

Maybe somebody only came around when they needed something.

Maybe they were manipulated.

Maybe something shared in confidence became gossip or ammunition later.

Maybe they were abandoned after finally allowing themselves to depend on someone.

Maybe they were ghosted.

No argument.

No explanation.

No goodbye.

Just someone who was there…

and then wasn’t.

An occupied chair one day.

An empty chair the next.

💔🪑

Experiences like that can teach a person not to get too comfortable.

Not to trust an invitation too quickly.

Not to believe every person who says, “There is room for you here.”

So perhaps they are not rejecting your chair.

Perhaps they are remembering another one.

Perhaps they are wondering:

How long before you change your mind?

What will this eventually cost me?

What happens when you know all of me?

Will you still want me here when I have nothing useful to give you?

What happens if I disappoint you?

What happens if I get comfortable and you disappear?

Those questions did not necessarily begin with you.

And the person standing beside your chair does not owe you the story of how they got them.

🥹

That matters.

We can become so determined to convince someone that our chair is safe that we begin demanding an explanation for why they will not sit.

But nobody owes us their wounds as an admission ticket.

Maybe we simply leave the chair there.

And live what the chair means.

Because a chair does not become trustworthy because we announce:

This chair is safe.

Trust is built in what happens over time.

In consistency.

In truth.

In boundaries.

In what happens after disagreement.

In what happens when someone tells us no.

In whether something whispered from that chair remains there.

In whether someone still matters when they have nothing to offer us.

In whether the chair remains a place for their whole self instead of only the parts we find comfortable.

Maybe one day they look at us and realize:

You meant it.

And maybe they sit.

Maybe they do not.

Because this is where two words have been sitting with me today:

Whosoeverwill…

🌎🪑

There is freedom in those words for both of us.

I am free to offer the chair.

You are free to accept it.

You are free to approach slowly.

You are free to sit for a while.

You are free to stand nearby until you know what you think.

And yes, you are free to decide that my chair simply is not where you want to sit.

That may hurt.

But an invitation that does not allow someone to say no is not really an invitation.

Whosoeverwill also leaves room for whosoever won’t.

The chair does not accuse.

It does not ask:

Why haven’t you come?

It does not say:

After everything I offered you…

It does not tell the person who offered it:

Nobody sat down, so there must be something wrong with you.

It simply remains what it was always intended to be:

Room.

🪑

And there is another possibility.

Maybe the chair we think is empty…

isn’t.

Maybe we have been watching the doorway for the person we hoped would come while overlooking someone who has quietly been sitting nearby all along.

The friend who checks on us.

The person who remembers.

The one who listens.

The one who celebrates something small because they know it was enormous to us.

The person who keeps showing up.

They may not be the person we imagined in that chair.

That does not mean their presence does not count.

Sometimes we should look beside us before deciding nobody came.

And sometimes…

the chair truly is empty.

There may be history in that emptiness.

Someone once sat there.

Life changed.

Distance came.

A relationship changed.

Someone left.

Someone died.

Sometimes nobody did anything wrong.

An empty chair can hurt precisely because something beautiful once occupied it.

That does not make the relationship a failure.

Sometimes an empty chair is evidence that something mattered.

💔

And perhaps, someday, somebody else sits beside us.

Not as a replacement.

People are not interchangeable.

They bring their own story.

Their own laughter.

Their own way of being present.

A new person does not erase the person who came before.

Life simply made room for another connection.

But there is something else I want us to remember.

The person offering the chair is taking a risk, too.

Opening space in our lives means allowing ourselves to be known.

It means admitting:

I would like your company.

There is vulnerability in that sentence.

So the chair needs boundaries, too.

Whosoeverwill does not mean whosoever wants unlimited access may have it.

The chair sits inside somebody’s life.

Love without an admission price does not mean love without boundaries.

Both people matter.

The person sitting.

And the person invited to sit.

🪑🪑

Maybe that is what I love most about the chair.

Nobody has to disappear for somebody else to belong.

Nobody has to become smaller.

Nobody has to be dragged into it.

Nobody has to be chained to it.

Nobody has to earn it.

It simply says:

There is room for you here.

And yes, beloveds, sometimes the chair is lonely.

Sometimes I look over and quietly think:

I wish you were here.

There is nothing shameful about that.

I can sit fully in my own life and still desire company.

I can know my worth and still miss someone.

I can respect your freedom and still wish you had come.

Both can be true.

So I will keep my chair.

Not as an advertisement of loneliness.

As an expression of love.

As a declaration that after everything life can teach us about the risks of connection, I still believe people are worth making room for.

And if you are the one standing across the room looking at somebody’s chair today…

I see you, too.

Take your time.

You may have survived things nobody in that room knows about.

You may still be learning that not every chair comes with an invoice.

You do not have to explain every scar before deciding whether you want to sit.

And if you are the one looking at an empty chair today…

do not automatically decide its emptiness says something about your worth.

Keep living.

Keep loving.

Look around occasionally.

Someone may already be nearer than you realized.

And let the invitation remain an invitation.

The chair is still here.

There is room for you here.

Whosoeverwill…

loving me some you

Disheartened: Everybody is going through something.

Full of D’s today:

Disheartened.

Disappointed

Discomfited.

Not, despairing.

Just…😢🥹💔😭

I want to cry. I won’t

Yesterday, I found out where I need to go for a vascular consultation has discontinued it’s wheelchair assistance. Now, a person will have to find a way to go inside and get their own wheelchair.

Tough luck for those needing a wheelchair brought out and pushed to their destination

We had to cancel the appointment. I’ll have to figure something out. We were just too tired.

Then, had to go get fitted for eyeglasses 🕶

It was not accessible. There was no ramp. Am sure there was probably one at the ends of the long walkway.

I had to walk with my quad cane to my chair. I cannot walk long distances….*sigh*

I felt discarded. Yet, another D to add to my list.

Truthfully, the world cares not for the disabled.

The world 🌎 champions and exalts the able-bodied. The beautiful. The monied. The athletic.

The rest of us can kick rocks,  apparently.

Lastly, my views have gone back to the very few. Truly, it felt like I had finally turned the corner, beloveds.  I thought my try was FINALLY making an impact. I thought Cassandra was finally having an impact somewhere, somehow.

Shit. I’m embarrassed. I think

Still, I think I’ll go climb on The Father’s Lap, today.

Who wants to go with me…

shaken but not stirred,

Cassandra

Note 📝: Be encouraged. Remember that you are loved and you are NOT alone! I see you, beloveds. Especially the few who always seem to be around. You give me ⛽️ fuel to keep shouting my love for the world 🌎into the void.🥹

ONE CHAIR FOR POSSIBILITIES

ONE CHAIR FOR POSSIBILITY

TODAY I CHOOSE POSSIBILITY.

Beloveds.

We made it to Friday.

Not perfectly.

Not necessarily gracefully.

Maybe not even the way we imagined we would.

But…

here.

And after everything we’ve talked about this week, I don’t want to end by handing you another assignment.

I don’t want to tell you to dream bigger.

Try harder.

Move faster.

Believe stronger.

Fix everything.

Figure out your five-year plan.

Nope.

Today I have a much smaller invitation.

Save one chair for possibility.

That’s it.

You don’t have to know what’s coming.

You don’t have to convince yourself that everything will happen exactly the way you want.

You don’t have to manufacture certainty and call it faith.

You don’t even have to feel particularly optimistic today.

Just don’t lock tomorrow out.

Leave one chair.

One little space in your heart that says:

Maybe.

Maybe there is more.

Maybe something can change.

Maybe I can change.

Maybe healing can happen in a way I haven’t imagined.

Maybe somebody wonderful can walk through a door I thought would remain empty.

Maybe an opportunity I cannot see yet is already making its way toward me.

Maybe I will laugh again.

Maybe I will love again.

Maybe I will try again.

Maybe I will surprise myself.

Maybe God isn’t finished.

Maybe.

Sometimes that is enough hope for one day.

🪑 HOPE DOESN’T REQUIRE CERTAINTY

We have done hope a terrible disservice by making it sound like certainty.

Hope is not:

“I know exactly what will happen.”

Sometimes hope is:

“I don’t know what will happen, but I haven’t decided that nothing good can.”

There is a difference.

Certainty wants guarantees.

Hope can sit beside questions.

Certainty wants the whole map.

Hope sometimes travels with enough light for the next few feet.

Certainty says:

“Tell me how this ends.”

Hope says:

“I’ll leave room for an ending I cannot see yet.”

Beloved, you don’t have to know.

You can hope without knowing.

You can believe without understanding.

You can move without seeing the entire road.

You can rest without quitting.

You can be disappointed and still leave the door cracked open.

You can grieve what was and remain curious about what might be.

That is not denial.

That is possibility.

🙏🏿 WHAT JEREMIAH 29:11 DOESN’T MEAN

I love Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” — Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

But I don’t want to use that Scripture like a greeting card that promises nothing difficult will happen.

The people hearing those words were not standing in an easy moment.

They were living through displacement.

Waiting.

Uncertainty.

They were being told to build lives while they waited.

That changes how I hear the verse.

God was not saying:

“Nothing hard will happen.”

He was reminding them that hardship had not erased the future.

Whew.

Hardship had not erased the future.

Neither has yours.

💜 HEART CHECK

Have you quietly decided something is impossible because it hasn’t happened yet?

Have you confused:

not yet

with

never?

Maybe you stopped expecting friendship.

Love.

Peace.

Joy.

Purpose.

Community.

Adventure.

Rest.

Healing.

A new dream.

A different path.

Maybe disappointment taught you to protect yourself by expecting nothing.

I understand why.

If I don’t hope, maybe I won’t hurt.

But hopelessness charges its own price.

Sometimes protecting ourselves from disappointment also protects us from possibility.

So I am not asking you to fling every door open today.

Just unlock one.

🔒🔑

That’s enough.

👑 TINY VICTORY

Look backward for just a minute.

Not to live there.

To notice.

You made it through things you once didn’t know how you would make it through.

There were mornings you didn’t have Friday’s answers on Monday.

You simply kept living until Friday arrived.

There are things you know today that an earlier version of you desperately wanted to know.

There are people you hadn’t met yet.

Laughs you hadn’t laughed.

Lessons you hadn’t learned.

Strength you hadn’t discovered.

Tiny moments of beauty you could not possibly have predicted.

You didn’t know they were coming.

They came anyway.

So today’s tiny victory is simple:

Celebrate how far you’ve come.

No ruler.

Remember Wednesday?

😂

We threw that thing down.

Your distance counts even if somebody else traveled farther.

🌎 DAILY LOVE CHALLENGE

Be somebody’s possibility today.

Not their rescuer.

Not their fixer.

Not the person who barges into their life with twelve instructions and a motivational speech they didn’t request.

😂

Just possibility.

Send the message.

Make the call.

Leave the kind comment.

Tell somebody:

“I thought about you today.”

Invite somebody in.

Encourage somebody who is trying.

Tell somebody what you appreciate about them while they can hear you say it.

Offer somebody a chair.

Sometimes the possibility another person needs is simply discovering:

Somebody sees me.

Somebody remembered me.

Somebody made room for me.

💜 YOUR STORY STILL MATTERS

Look at the books beside Friday’s chair:

HOPE.

KINDNESS.

A BETTER TOMORROW.

STILL HERE.

MORE TO COME.

I love that last one.

MORE TO COME.

Not because I know what the “more” is.

I don’t.

That’s the point.

There are pages we haven’t written.

People we haven’t met.

Conversations we haven’t had.

Places we haven’t gone.

Things we haven’t learned.

Jokes we haven’t laughed at yet.

Prayers whose answers we may not recognize yet.

There is more life we haven’t lived.

So I refuse to let one difficult chapter declare itself the entire book.

Tuesday taught us that.

A marked-up page is not a ruined book.

There are more pages.

🛤️ FORWARD IS A DIRECTION, NOT A SPEED

Wednesday taught us something too.

Progress doesn’t have one acceptable speed.

Forward is a direction.

Not a speed.

You may sprint.

Walk.

Roll.

Crawl.

Pause.

Rest.

Recalculate.

Ask for help.

Change the route.

Start again.

All of it can belong to forward.

Small steps still change lives.

Your pace does not disqualify your possibility.

🎒 TRAVEL LIGHTER

And yesterday?

We sorted some bags.

Some were ours.

Some belonged to God.

Some never belonged to us at all.

Maybe Friday feels different because we aren’t dragging quite as much toward tomorrow.

I don’t need to carry every fear about what might happen.

I don’t need to control every outcome.

I don’t need every answer before I move.

I can do what belongs to me.

Release what doesn’t.

Trust God with what I cannot see.

And leave one chair open.

🔒🔑 BEFORE YOU GO…

Monday, we came wet.

🌧️

We learned we didn’t have to clean up our pain before entering the room.

Tuesday, we came written on.

📖

We learned that yesterday’s writing doesn’t eliminate tomorrow’s possibilities.

Wednesday, we put down the ruler.

📏

We learned that progress still counts when it looks different.

Thursday, we sorted the bags.

🎒

We learned that trust and agency can coexist.

And now Friday.

🪑

No giant declaration.

No guarantee.

No pretending.

Just this:

I haven’t locked tomorrow out.

There is still room for what I cannot see.

There is still room for something I haven’t imagined.

There is still room for another laugh.

Another conversation.

Another dream.

Another beginning.

Another chance.

Another page.

Another door.

Another step.

Another possibility.

Maybe today won’t be perfect.

But it can still be a good step.

So pull up the chair.

Sit for a minute.

Look toward tomorrow.

And beside you—

leave one seat empty.

Not because you know what’s coming.

Because you haven’t decided nothing is.

The chair stays.

And Beloved…

so do you.
