Why do you…?

Why do you?

Why, do you do, what you do?

WHY do you?

Why, do you think, what you think?

Why do YOU?

Why, do YOU, think and do the things, that you do?

I love, learning.

I love, thinking.

I love, thinking about learning.

I always have. I don’t know why.

I love writing. I love it’s rules. I love breaking the writing rules by not putting commas where they need to be. By using, too many, commas, to, comma, separate, my thoughts. 🀣

Why?

In part, because I have been boxed in, all my life. I have been told, as a black woman, I am:

Loud.

Angry.

Angry AND loud, when neither of those things, were true. Yes, at times, I AM angry. I AM loud. Yet, us sistas have many, many reasons to be as such.

Sadly, whilst being accused of being mad/loud, we have also been admonished to NOT be angry, mad and loud.

Why?

Not for us. I just think most folk have NO idea what to do with a sista’s passion. With, her heart.

Our hearts, are tender. So much so, we protect them. Sometimes, loudly. Sometimes, angrily. Always, passionately.

That said, we love hard. We love, much. We yearn to BE loved. Love us.

Back to my question:

Why do you…

awaiting your answer,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: I HAD to tell myself to keep on being me. I was reading some obviously talented writer blogs and they…whew, those puppies tend to intimidate the hooey out of me.

The authors have such amazing structure. The sites are beautiful. Many have many followers. When I return to MY site, it looks a site! I have no bells, no whistles. There are no charming sections. Just me.

Which is precisely why I started my blog, in the first place, beloveds! You don’t have to be anyone other than you. Your heart is what matters. As does mine, yes? Yes!

Keep, exploring. Enjoy other folks. Learn from them. Allow them to learn from you. Use too many commas. Use no commas. Okay, sprinkle some in so folks can, take a breath. Just be…YOU.

Enjoy, today. Look forward, to an awesome weekend. You have done your work, for the week. Take time, for you. Yall know the next bit by now:

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Your thoughts matter! Let us know how you feel.
