Don’t quit because things are hard, beloveds.

Stop only when the job is done.

You will be glad you did.

I am doing my utmost to remember why I am doing my why, in the first place.

Hard can make it really hard to remember the why when you are going through what on earth is this?!

I was just watching a YouTuber who was/is lamenting becoming more popular. She was lamenting all the time her passion is taking now. Now, it’s no longer a passion. Now, for her, it’s a job.

I am sooooooooooooooooooo torn, beloveds. I love to write. I don’t want writing to become a chore/job. Yes, I know there is work putting out work. Yet, I want to be able to cut up and act a fool just because I can.

Today, work was slow. So, I took advantage of some voluntary time off to work on some pieces. To work on MY dream.

Keep on working, beloveds. Keep looking for time to build on YOUR legacy.

When I find myself internally stressing about how long things are taking I remind myself things take time. The best things appear to take the longest time. My dreams may take me the rest of my days to fulfill. Or, not.

I have made peace with that. I have made my peace with ME. All I can do is all I can do. That’s it. My all may not be enough for you. That’s okay. It’s all that I have. And, all that I have I give to you.

What do I ask in return? That you love someone else. Starting with you.

Ah.

Be encouraged, beloveds.

God has us all.

Take care of that beautiful heart of yours. If you have not yet told someone you love them, please don’t let the day go by without blessing someone with your love. Promise you that you will never let another day go by without loving yourself and loving others.

    1. Folks have been missing the point. We are not mere pawns God uses and discards when move is done. God does NOT view us as ‘assignments’.

      God does NOT see you as a transactional partner that is no use when you are done encouraging or exhorting or whatever your gifting is. It’s like being a server at a restaurant: When your shift is over, whatever your role, you go home and live your life. It’s not that you are finished. Just finished with that particular shift. Still valued. Still loved. Just did your turn and the next server steps up in service etc.

      Then, God waits for you to hang out with Him, yak with Him, BE with Him. Then, He may whisper for you to see if you can help out and do this and that. Not because you have to. Just because we all need one another. So we don’t stay in silos. So we can be there for one another.

      God has been so silent with folk lately because folk have been chasing ministry and doing and giving as if the important thing IS those things. It’s not. The important thing is kicking it with Him. All the rest SHALL be added to and for you. We are NOT our ministry or what we do. We do what we do. We are sooooooooooooooooooooo much more. Ack. I can’t explain how I would like. Also, you are more than just a guy. IMO. 🙂

      3. No need to be sorry! Craig your LIFE is sooooooo impactful. Just you being you changes the equation. the enemy is so needing folk to chase being used. Then they feel awful if not chosen. We are His Peep. Loved. Adored. Cherished. Out of that love we serve joyfully.

  2. Sometimes I can’t remember why. I still trust God. I just don’t always understand. This time, it seems so much worse. There must be a reason, but I just can’t give up yet. You are beloved, too, my dearest sister! ❤️

    1. There IS a reason. God needs for you to keep asking. Keep asking. Keep wondering. Keep being honest. Keep letting it be known you don’t understand. Keep trusting. Keep asking. Keep letting it be known you don’t understand. Rinse. Repeat. Until….ah, Maggie, the until is coming for you. Be encouraged.
