I don’t know who needs this little postcard today, but I’m sending it anyway.

Don’t give up yet.

Not because I can promise you everything is about to become easy. I can’t.

Not because I know exactly what you’re carrying. I don’t.

But because sometimes we make permanent decisions while standing inside temporary pain. Sometimes exhaustion starts talking like it knows the future.

It doesn’t.

So before you decide there is nothing left ahead of you, give tomorrow a chance to introduce itself.

Rest if you need to.

Cry if you need to.

Be quiet if you need to.

Ask somebody to sit beside you if you need to.

Take one tiny step if that’s all you’ve got.

But please—

Don’t give up yet.

There are people you haven’t met yet.

There is laughter you haven’t laughed yet.

There are mornings you haven’t seen yet.

There are songs you haven’t danced badly to yet. 💃🏿😂

There is love you haven’t received yet—and love only you can give.

You do not have to figure out the rest of your life today.

Just stay for this step.

Then the next one.
