What does the silence mean?
I’ve been asking God this since the tornado tore up my town last year.
I have been praying for her answers that have not yet come. I have been praying for a breakthrough that have not broken through. I have asked for help that has never come.
The only consistent thing has been the silence of God and The Universe. I don’t understand it. I don’t understand Him right now, I want to tell myself. Still, I do understand. More and more.
The silent forces me to figure things out. I can’t afford to quit. I can’t afford to give up. I have to find my way, some kind of way.
This silence makes me more determined. This silence makes me more tenacious. The silence makes me more relentless in pursuit of my dreams. Maybe I should find God where my dreams are hiding?!
The silence drives me to my computer. The silence forces words from my heart. The silent makes my dream sound so much louder. I can hear nothing but my dreams calling me through the silence.
What does a silence mean? Do you know? Help a sista out. In the meantime. I will keep asking for to. God to show me where to go. I will keep praying. to find out what to do. I will keep trying. I don’t know what else to do. I’m too stubborn to quit.
I would normally offer words of inspiration and courage here. I don’t have much when it comes to the subject. The silence hurts. The silence is deafening. The silence makes me want to go somewhere and hide. I can’t. I have too many things to do.
determined,
Cassandra

Note: If life is being silent just now, hang in there. Keep doing what you know to do. We are only responsible for doing the things we know to do. Have an amazing rest of your day.

In the song “Sound of Silence” by Paul Simon, he writes “Hello darkness my old friend, I’ve come to talk to you again”. He’s talking about his bathroom. He go into his bathroom with his guitar, shut the lights of and try to break writers block that way. But I agree with you.

I don’t play guitar in the bathroom. π I prefer to break writer’s block by playing guitar outside, under a shade tree or under a gazebo.

For some reason, I have done my best prayers in the bathroom. I have also written some fantastic pieces there. Maybe it’s from releasing waste that free ones mind. Or, taking care of business whilst taking care of business, if you know what I mean. π€£β₯οΈ
