You are not…

You are not…

Your, pain.

You are not…

What has happened to you.

Things have happened, no getting around it.

Those things, have not, shall not, can NOT, keep you from living a fantastically joyful and fulfilled life!

You are not…

Giving up on you and your dreams. Nope. Nada. Not going to happen.

Hurt.

Heal.

Move on.

Simple as that.

It takes courage, to begin, again, again, again….

Begin.

You are not…

A quitter.

Stop hating on you. Cut yourself a break and move on. So, you messed up. I mess up about 50 times, a day, feels like. So what?

So what now?

Beats me.

Let’s figure out, together, eh?

here(?),

Cassandra

My messes.

I’m not afraid.

Not anymore.

I’m no longer afraid to admit to being a mess.

I’m not afraid.

You might never get another chance.

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: Don’t wait until you feel like it. Don’t wait until your fear subsides. Don’t wait. Do. Go now, beloveds. This world needs you. You need to be able to expand your borders. The Universe is calling you. Go on now. You can do this…

Don’t be afraid to say ow!

Ow!

Whew. My back has been kicking my tail.

I hurt. ALL day. What made me feel better, almost, was talking to my fam and letting them know I hurt.

In times past, I would keep my ow, to myself. I would bear the weight, of the world, whilst grimacing from, my own.

I have learned, the hard way, to allow others to share ALL of me. It comforted, me. It comforted, them.

I also was strong enough, to admit feeling weak. I was weak. I AM weak. It feels good, to not HAVE to be strong.

When I am done here, I am going to grab my binkie, crawl onto The Father’s Lap, and let Him know that I am feeling every bit of my 54 years.

I am enjoying living alone. Yet, the more me I find, whilst pursuing my dreams. The more I want to share me, with Life, with The Universe, with God, with others.

The more me, I find, leaves me thinking of you, beloveds. I don’t want you to spend decades thinking that you and your dreams, don’t matter. They do. As do you. So do I.

Ow!

Seems like my back is in need of a hug or ibuprofen, or some such. I just stopped by to encourage you to share YOUR ow.

Let’s say it together, shall we, as life has NOT been playing…OW!!

still here,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: The very last thing, I FEEL like doing, is writing. Which is EXACTLY why, I am writing! Don’t let your ow, keep you from living and enjoying your life. I am content. Even in the midst of my ow. Be encouraged.

Lemme, here it now:

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU

(Dis)appointment with God.

God: You rang?

Me: What are you talking about?

God: What were YOU, talking about?

Me: (Feigning innocence) What do you mean?

God: What were you whispering, deep inside, where no one could hear, but me?

Me: Busted.

God: You better ask somebody!

I had to admit it, to myself, first. Then, to someone else(wombie). Finally, to…Yikes!…God.

I was disappointed.

In, um, Him.

In, Him?

I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN HIM?!

I tell you, I was soooooooooooo afraid, beloveds, to even think that I had thunk such a thought!

Yikes!

Egads!

Why, was I disappointed, with Him?

Because, He had not answered my prayers.

Not, in the way, I thought He ‘should’.

Not, in the way, I thought He would.

Not, in the way, I knew, He could.

That’s the whole point, beloveds.

He, COULD.

Yet, He didn’t.

Not, for me.

Not, about that main thing, I had been believing, hoping, asking for.

One of the hardest things I have ever done was to admit that I was disappointed in myself. Harder still, was admitting I was disappointed with God. I was disappointed with friends I was even disappointed with my family

When I asked myself why, it turns out I had been expecting them all to read my mind. They should have known, what I needed. They should’ve known, how I feel. They should have known me, I thought to myself.

Yet, how could they know me? I didn’t allow them to. I gave them my money. I gave them my time. I gave them my hard work. I gave them my encouragement. Yet, I kept my heart to myself. I didn’t want to be a burden, I told myself. I didn’t want to burden them, with my small problems.

If I’m to be completely honest here, the person I was truly disappointing end was me. I should’ve done this. I should’ve gone there. I should of had this by now. I should’ve had satisfied now.

Should. Should. Should. Should. Should.

Enough already!

I lived, in a world of shoulds, which led to a lifetime of disappointment.

Being honest, with yourself, is not a whole lot of fun. It’s necessary. Being honest with God, can be terrifying. Yet, it’s necessary. It wasn’t really, actually.

Opening your heart, can be so scary. You just don’t know how your heart will be received. You don’t know if the person will understand. Half the time you don’t even know what to say, think, do. Even now, I don’t know what to say. What I’m trying to say. Not really.

It’s hard to talk about disappointment. It’s hard to even say the word disappointment. Disappointment is so disappointing. I’m tired of being disappointed. That said, I’m getting used to disappointment. As it turns out, disappointment has been a good friend to me, here lately.

Disappointment, is teaching me so much about life. Disappointment, a showing me what I find truly important about life. About, my life. The more I tried, to fit out this writing thing, the more I mess up.

And, the more I mess up, the more I laugh at myself. The more I laugh at myself, the more makes me want to try harder. The harder I tried, the more determined I become. The more determined I become, the more I want to succeed. The more I feel, the more disappointed I grow.

Yet, and all the disappointment, I continue to grow.

As I write these words, I’m enjoying music by my favorite artists. What if those artists, had given up on their dreams? I wouldn’t be able to enjoy their music! The only difference between them and me, is that they kept going. They kept fighting for their dream. Until, their music would be her for the whole world to hear.

Now, I write. Badly, at times Clumsily, at times. Yet, I write. I’m finding, disappointment is not as painful as I thought. Okay, it is, but I know it is building me into the me I always wanted, to be.

Get excited when disappointment shows up It can be your appointment with destiny!

Allow disappointment to be your friend. Allow disappointment to teach you about you. Allow disappointment to open doors to a great future for you and yours. Remember that change takes time. Sometimes, a lot of time. Enjoy this time in your life.

Learning from disappointment with you,

Cassandra

Note: it’s important, at times, to sit with your feelings. Don’t run from them. Process them. Then, move on. Then, move forward. Your future awaits you.

And the peanut gallery said:

You are loved.

You are not alone.

Keep on being… YOU.

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Let today be the last time…

Let today, be the last time…

Fear, holds you back.

Let today, be the last time…

You talk yourself out of pursuing your dreams.

Let today, be the last time…

You hide your dreams inside.

Let today, be the last time…

You refuse, to try.

Let today, be the last time…

You allow anything to get in your way, including yourself.

Let today, be the last time…

You say no to your dreams.

Let today, be the last time…

You walk away from your dreams.

Let today, be the last time…

You refuse to believe in you.

Let today, be the last time…

You hide behind walls of fear, doubt, hurt, pain.

Let today, be the day you say yes, to your dreams.

Let today, be the first day, of the rest of your life.

Let today, be acclamation point

Your life can and will be what you choose it to be. Yesterday is past. Leave the past in the past. Let today, be the day you begin, yet again. Don’t waste another day, beloved, getting on yourself for not being where you think you should be.

Stop blaming yourself for what you didn’t know. You have done your best. You have tried. It’s time, don’t you think, beloved, for you to forgive yourself and move on? Stop judging yourself for what you don’t have to. You have what you have.

You are caring person. You are giving person. At times, you are selfless person. Well you should be. There are times when you need to be selfish. When you need to choose you. When you need to walk towards your goals.

The today, be the day you finally forgive yourself and move on.

Keep going. Don’t let giving up on yourself be okay let today, be the day you look at yourself in the mirror and know that person really is okay. That person, is you. Let today, be the day to finally move on beyond the things that have happened to you.

Life happens. Your life happened. If you’re not currently satisfied, change it. You have to keep doing what you’re doing. Change a job. Change your relationship. Change your mind. You don’t have to keep doing things just because it’s the way you used to do things.

At 54, I’m trying all kinds of things I never did before. And, it has been a bit scary. I thought I was too old. Now, I see my age as my asset now, I laugh at my mistakes. I used to feel like a mistake. Now, I know I was just me. I am me.

Life is short. It’s time to live. It’s time to turn down the noise. It’s time to put away the distraction and live. It’s time. Get on with your life, beloved, there are people who will walk this life with you and be glad to have you in their life

You can.

You will.

Sees this day. Look today, be the day…

Being about it with you,

Cassandra

Note: change his heart. It’s easy getting stuck in a rough. It’s easy clinging to our comfort zones. Life will pass, whether you try our not. How will you allow your life to be? The choice is yours. Such a scary thought. Be encouraged. Remember, you are loving you are not alone.

Pickles: Shattered(dreams).

Me: So, THAT wasn’t very nice!

The Universe: πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Me:…*pout*

The Universe: I sowwy…

I was hankering for pickles.. Sweet ones, to be specific.

Of course, the stores out of stock. I was patient I waited. And, waited. And, waited. Finally, the sweet pickles came back into stock. Happily, I bought a large jar of pickles. As I was putting away groceries, I heard a crash. Sweet heavens, no!

Looking up at me, from their pitiful place on the floor, were my sweet pickles.

Shattered.

Broken.

Never, to be eaten.

Crackers!

Of all the groceries, why the pickles?!

It hurts, doesn’t it, when things we’re looking forward to get broken and shattered? Life can be like that.

What did I do? I called it, of course. I swept up the broken pieces. I moved on. I had some fruit snacks. What could I do, other than to keep on keeping on? Gnosis crying over spilt milk,er, sweet pickles.

I’m learning how to deal with the outcome of things. Whatever they may be. Just because things didn’t work out where thought they would, does not mean that God and The Universe did not hear me. They did. They just had a different interpretation and perspective.

The more things don’t go my way, the more I learned that things don’t have to go my way, for me to be happy and successful. Yes, I would have enjoyed those pickles. I must say, I did enjoy the fruit snacks!

When life breaks your pickles, make lemonade. Or, something like that.

Making lemonade with you,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: dreams do come true. Sometimes, they come true in ways we had no idea they would. Dreaming, anyway. Who knows? You may enjoy the fruit snacks more than the pickles.

I am the diamond.

I have found, with the trying, with the failure, with the heat, with thr lack, with the silence, that God, Life, and The Universe, were producing much more than diamonds, in my πŸ‘Ÿ shoe.

They were revealing, with my try, the fact that I am the diamond!

I don’t NEED millions, to affect millions. ALL I need, to do is to..BE.

Wow.

Amazing.

The world, wants you to believe you need to have this, that, and the other thing, before you can be viewed as valuable. The world, wants you to waste your life chasing things instead of, pursuing your dreams.

Beloved, KNOW you are the diamond! You don’t have to be draped in diamonds, to be seen as the priceless and precious person, you are! Right now! Further more, you don’t HAVE to be all bright and shining before you are valuable.

A diamond is precious because it is hard to come by. Real diamonds, formed by pressure, deep within the earth’s surface. Formed, by heat. By relentless pressure, on top of pressure, on top of pressure.

Until, finally, the diamond emerges. Yet, the diamond is hard to get to. It takes great effort, to dig out the diamond. Yet, once free, the diamond can change the fortunes of the person who holds it.

Your life is meant to change the world. Starting, with your own. Be the diamond you are. Let your light shine. Shine! This IS your time. Use it well. Use it now. Stop letting folks use you.

You don’t have to, beg to be loved. You don’t have to, buy you love. You don’t have to, keep giving everything, while hoping, you’ll receive a small scrap, in return. Your life is a diamond. You are the diamond.

Keep on, being you. Look, around you. Look, at the impact you have made on your family, friends, and community. Folk’s lives would not be the same, without you in it.

As we finish out the last of this year, think about what you want your life to look like moving forward. What do you want to be doing? What would you like to go? Then, start making plans to do that and to go there.

In the meantime, enjoy where you are, right now. Enjoy, your life. Enjoy, your family. Enjoy, your friends. Make friends, if you don’t have any.

Write, the book. Sing, the song. Ask, someone out. Go, to a show. Take, a walk. Apply, for the job you want. Start, a blog. Create, a podcast. Ask, for help. Help, somebody.

Life is short. What are you waiting for? Life has been waiting for you. Get out there to meet it. You can do it. You will do it. How do I know? Because God says you can and that you will.

My life is full. I have a few friends I can trust with my life. I have a twin sister that makes me laugh every day. I have brothers and sisters I can call and laugh with and be serious with anytime. I have a job that makes me laugh every day.

Mostly, I have an awesome relationship with God. Fantastic. How great is that!? He is My Diamond. Priceless. Precious.

Be encouraged, beloved. Keep on believing in yourself. Don’t worry about how long it would take. The thing that matters take a long time to create. Enjoy the journey. Enjoy making mistakes.

I hear another cup of coffee calling me. I fear I am going to have to kick you all to the curb. Be well.

Shining my life as the diamond I am,

Cassandra

Note: I do want to take a moment, beloveds, to let you know you are on my mind today. Be sure to do a heart check on yourself. Be sure to love on you today. Be sure to do something special for yourself. Stop listening to nonsense that says it is selfish to take care of yourself. You can’t give what you don’t have. Someone needs to hear your voice today. As always, I will keep you lift up in prayer. Don’t let people tell you prayer does not change things. They do.

I’ve been fighting discouragement, for the past week or so. Everything, I have tried here lately, has failed. Everything. My work system, is still acting up. My equipment, is old and not working right. My health, is not the greatest in the world. Yet, I have great peace and joy. Life, is good. Even, when it’s hard. Especially, when it’s hard. These hard days, have been some of my best days.

I am listening to Stevie Wonder’s ‘Isn’t She Lovely?’ Yes, I am soooooooo lovely!! So, are you. Keep being lovely. Keep on being you. Understand you are NOT what you do, what you have or where you live.

You are a million facets of all kinds of things. Let life’s pressure continue to form the diamond you are. The pressure is not there to break you. The pressure is simply bringing out the best IN you. The rest, as they say, shall come out, in the wash.

Be encouraged.

Be hopeful.

Be joyful.

Be!

Do your best and leave the outcome where it belongs. NOT with you!

Sheesh! Didn’t I say I have a cup of coffee waiting on me? Kick rocks. Gently, of course…lol…

Me.

Me.

ME!

All I can be is me.

I have been watching posts and uplifting content from folk and sites I admire and receive much joy from.

I return to MY small site and words and…

Smh.

I wonder, STILL, how The Universe, can peer down at little OLD me and…

Think ME altogether lovely. Wow!

Who woulda thunk it?!

I am:

Loud.

Can stop the list there. The world does not care much for loud. Unless loud is brass, brash and tramples over everything not caring about what it tramples on.

My loud is…*shrug*…love on steroids.πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

All I know how to be is me.

It’s a good thing, isn’t it, that being us is fantastic?!

Me.

I shall continue to be.

Me.

It’s not easy being me. I’m a lot. I know this about me. A lot to be a good thing though, can’t it?

Keep on being you, beloved. This world could use a whole lot more of us, don’t you think?

Being me,

Cassandra
