Note: It sure has been mighty hard doing my why, beloveds. Why? Storms won’t stop. Bills won’t stop. Discouragement and disappointment absolutely refuses to stop bugging me. Therefore, I don’t stop. I can’t. I won’t. Crapola.
During especially tough moments, beloveds, it is CRUCIAL to understand these are nothing but tests. Simple as that. Yea, thse bad boys are loud. Yes, the storms are mighty impressive sounding and looking.
Still, these too SHALL pass. The ONLY important thing is how we determine to be/live/move AFTER all the hoopla has gone by.
I choose to be:
Victorious.
Joyful.
Hopeful.
Resilient.
Loving.
Caring.
Empathetic.
I choose to be/remain these things DURING the storms/trials. How about you?
My why is encouraging folk and reminding them they are loved and not alone. What’s your why? Let me know in the comments.π₯°ππ
The following may or may not be true, depending on who you ask and who is telling the truth…
I needed to clean my π glasses.
I reached for said π glasses, in near darkness, having just woken from a tasty nap. Alaa, beloveds, you already KNOW where this is heading…*sigh*.
I cleaned said π glasses. Said π glasses felt odd/weird.
I looked in my hand. Said π glasses turned out to be the π case!π
Opps…lol.
I just stopped by to remind you to laugh at your mistakes. You will make millions of them.
Remember, beloveds, you are NOT your mistakes.Β Get used to making them, correcting them, learning from them, trying not to repeat them, moving past them.
Be encouraged.

Note: In case no one has told you today: I love you. So does He.
Forgive me, beloveds. I just finished clearing out food from my mini fridge. I had to toss out ALL the meal prepped food due to the recent mini power outages and issues from the storms that just won’t end.
This is a not funny reminder of having to throw out ALL my food after the power came on from last year’s tornado.
To say that I cried, beloveds, was an understatement. It took aeons to build up the variety of meat, veggies etc in my freezer. Thinking of how much money I spent on that meat!…*sniff*…*stamps foot*.
Just the thought makes me want to cry. My half empty freezer still mocks me.
It seems as though I have done nothing but starred over for the last two years. You would think I would be good at it by now. I’m not.
I am finding that I am a tough old bird!
Don’t be ashamed of starting over. Start over as many times as you need to. I’m starting over for the 10th time today…
In the meantime, enjoy your life. Do something you enjoy today.
I keep running out of room on my old phone. I am forever having to make room by deleting this, saving that, and reorganizing the other. Story of my life!
Life is like that: Forever having to make room for something.
I’m doing some internal spring cleaning so I can make room for all that I desire to hack it for my life in these next couple of years. I’m clearing away all thought patterns and obsolete ways of living that no longer serve me.
I am embracing new challenges and facing each head on. I have been truly astonished at the many times I have actually given up for a few hours here lately. It’s not like me to give up.
Maybe that’s a good thing. and learning how to accept that I am a fallible human being that can crack every now and again. In the past, I would have been devastated and so disappointed with me for giving up like this. Instead, I am learning to make allowances for it and to give myself time to grieve, be disappointed, and then get back after it. I think this is what Grace looks like in real time.
Give yourself some grace. The squeezing every little bit out of life that you can. All we can do is do all we can do and wait patiently for the outcome. This has been terribly hard to do this week.
I wonder if I am the only one struggling with wanting to just say to heck with all of this in a runaway somewhere!
Let’s continue to make room for the things we have been asking for.

Note: I can’t believe the year is almost half over already.
I told myself I was NOT disappointed. I was. I went and sat in my baby so I could talk to God and mom about it. My car was where I had the last conversation with mom before she died.
I told them I was disappointed.
Then, I put the seat back, put on some praise music, looked at the β and enjoyed being in my paid off car.
I thanked God for all that I have. I let go of what I had lost.
I will have to try something else. That’s okay. I just stopped by to let someone know it’s okay to be disappointed. Just remember all that you have. Still. Now. Be encouraged.
grateful, Cassandra

Note: I’m doing my level best to keep moving FORWARD, to keep looking UP, and keep standing ten toes down.
Now that I know what target to aim at, beloveds, I can put some wheels on my dreams.
I am trying this, that and some of that there over there…lol.
I am also working on creating a posting schedule. Yea, I post daily. Still, I need to buckle down on how much and when for my Capcut/Tiktok videos. The research has been super interesting.
In fact, I am utilizing things learned and incorporating them in other areas of my life. I’m doing all I know. I pray it’s enough.
I have learned, beloveds, to move as my dreams move. Whenever they move. One would have hoped my dreams would be more respectful of this 56 year old body. Not!
I just stopped by to encourage you to keep on going. Do the hard. Do the incredibly dumb sounding things your dreams are whispering for you to try. You have NO idea whatsoever where your ridiculous dreams are leading you. Let’s go!!

Note: It feels good to moving in a direction.Β For so long, life has had me at a standstill. The week of Memorial Day Weekend, I was FINALLY given where to focus my efforts on.
I find it fitting/ironic to have been given my answer a few days before the first anniversary of last year’s tornado. π₯°π€π
