Ha!
It’s about TIME!
I said these words, beloveds, on the way to holding court, with The Universe.
I had asked, er, DEMANDED an appointment, you see.
SOMEONE, SOMETHING, somehow, today, was going to give an accounting if WHY I was STILL waiting for my dreams to be fulfilled.
I was armed, with stats, with figures, with 50 million reasons of why my dreams ought have been given me, long time ago.
Jesus, playing Secretary, escorted me to Universe’s 🚪 door. He asked was I ready to KNOW?
Of course!
Entering, impatiently, er, patiently, I flounced upon a hard wooden chair.
The Universe entered, bringing two boxes. One, crammed full of dazzling dreams, hopes and a whole lotta joy.
The other, held but scraps of smiles, a few tries, a ton of fret, worry, regret and 😱
Wow, I felt sorry for the recipient of THAT box!
The Universe told me the first box was one in which I, along with my try, had helped The Universe to prepare for many. The Universe thanked me, for my prayers, for my try, for my efforts on behalf of my fellow man. He asks if I wanted to help 🚚 deliver the 📦 packages I helped The Universe to prepare.
We had a thrilling time, The Universe and I, ministering to the wide 🗺 world.
Tired, we returned, to find the meager box, still waiting. I wished I had enough energy, to ad some hopes, dreams, joy and try, to the small sampling and fare.
Maybe later, I thought to myself, as I made my tired way, to the 🚪 door.
Suddenly, I remembered why I had come, in the first place! I was there to collect MY dreams and find the culprit who had gotten in my way, this whole time.
The Universe, handed me a 🗝 key, pointed to a small room, and bid me go.
I went.
I turned the key.
I gasped.
I looked into the face of the culprit.
The culprit was me.
My try, on my own behalf, scooped up the box that contained what I had put in it, when it came to MY hopes and dreams.
Do better, The Universe asked. Try, hope and believe, for YOU, with the same zeal, you do for all others.
THEN, return for your bounty. It shall be here. Waiting for you. As shall I.
I will…
That was about a year ago, beloveds. I was questioning everything. I was tired. I was disappointed. I was distracted. I was discouraged.
I was burned-out, quite frankly. This life, the way I was going, was unsustainable. I couldn’t keep giving out and giving out and giving out and not taking care of me or tending to my writing dreams.
I decided to take the year and focus on writing everyday. I took the time to get my healthy eating back healthy. I took the time to get my place organized. I took the time to get my heart organized. I took the time for me. I took the time to ask my heart what it needed. I took the time to ask my dreams what it wanted to accomplish.
I took the time.
For me.
Ah.
Aha!
Now I spend my days encouraging add a folk to do the work. For them. For their dreams. For your dreams. Life is short. It’s time for us to stop getting in our own way don’t you think?
We are things to do.
Let’s start doing as many of them as we can, shall we?
