Real talk: There will ALWAYS be a THIS.

Real talk, beloveds. There will ALWAYS be a THIS.

There will always be something to overcome. It’s called life being life.

The older I grow, the more I realize that lamenting THIS. THAT and the OTHER THING, really is a huge waste of life and time.

Best to just deal with them. Head on. With integrity. Then, keep it moving.

Does it really matter whose fault it was? Not really. He messed up. You messed up. They messed up. We messed up.

Let’s fix our messes and decide to stop being so messy. We all have opinions about everything, it seems. In my opinion, I think we should all take a seat, shut up, and listen to someone.

Whatever you are currently fighting/struggling/dealing with, beloveds, remember you are much more than your struggles.

Your struggles do not define you. Your struggles do not signal how things shall be. Your struggles are just that: Struggles. Period.

Your struggles do not mean you will always struggle. You will have another THIS to decide what to do with after you have dealt with THAT…lol.

Trying to figure out why THIS or THAT happened is like trying to figure out why Cassandra can not figure out how to make a decent pan of brownies(more on THAT saga soon…smh).

I was sooooooooo angry 😡 with life after the tornado 🌪.

HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN TO ME FOR NO REASON?! I’M A GOOD PERSON! I WORK HARD. I CARE ABOUT THE WORLD. HOW COULD YOU HAVE ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN TO ME?!!!

I’m no longer angry. I don’t have time to be. I still have some sad days. I can’t be 💯 with my friends and family and admit how terribly hurt I was and am to have to go through this alone and at my age.

I don’t want to have to deal with THIS. Not now. I would have rather kept dealing with THAT other thing I thought was so terribly hard.

I’m trying to find some uplifting words in here. Somewhere. Maybe that’s the whole point: There will ALWAYS be a THIS. And, THIS may never make sense or be pleasant.

That said, we CAN make it through THIS. Whatever THIS may be.

Be encouraged. You got this. As do I.
