Good habits told me to get to it.

Well, phooey!

I got in trouble, beloveds. I tried to skip out a bit early from finishing my weekly pieces.

The only problem is I have so gotten used to doing so that my habit told me to get my act right acting right and keep my promise to me.

Okay! Okay!

It is soooooooooooooooo easy, beloveds, to skimp on OUR dreams. Yea, we kill ourselves helping our jobs and others fulfill THEIR dreams. Yet, we skimp on ours at the first sign of lazy.

Why? Because we are trying to win some aren’t you wonderful trophy or something. And, we secretly doubt we can or will anyway so why give full effort.

Geeeeeeeeeez, Cassandra! Get it together!😳😊

Whew. That was close. I now have my act right acting right.

Me: But….*sniff*….life is kicking my tail. Life is NOT being fair. The Universe is completely silent and I still don’t know how!…*stamps foot*

God: So, what is being all up in your feels bringing to these things, beloved?

Me: Well….nothing. Am just used to being all up in my feels, as You call it, when things like this happen.

God: Why? What purpose does that solve?

Me: Okay, no real purpose but it feels good, at the moment.

God: Does it really?

Me: Okay, so not really but…..hmm….ehem.

God: What POSITIVE things have you done, about these happenings?

Me: So, well, okay, I have not had time. I’m too busy all up in my feels.

God: Would you like to talk about it?

Me: You have too many important things to do. My things are small, in comparison to what other folks are going through. I feel ridiculous even feeling bad.

God: Are you and your needs not important, beloved?

Me: Okay, so I think so. I hope so. I’m scared to say that sometimes I get scared and don’t want to disappoint You.

God: My disappointment is in the extra steps and pebbles you add to your mountain, at times, when you act out of your feels, instead of with My Love and Care.

Me: What do I DO, then, with these feels. They are running around all over the place!

God: Share them with me. My Shoulders can handle them.

Some days you just gotta say it is well.

I’m doing my best, beloveds, not to get arrested.

I find myself microphone, er, blue screwdriver in hand, bellowing ‘It Is Well’ as loud as I can legally get away with.😁😳🎶🎤😎

Life has been a bit rough lately. That’s okay. Life was just being life.

I have learned that and I’m still learning that lesson.

I have also learned and I’m still learning that there are time you just have to say it is well.

Yes, Lord, life hurts right now, but it is well with my soul!

Oh the bills keep piling up but it is well with my soul!

I’m lonely right now but it is still well with my soul!!

I don’t know how I’m gonna make it out of this messed called my life but it is well with my soul.

I don’t know how but it is well with my soul.

I don’t know when but it is still wellwith my soul.

I don’t know if I will ever see my dreams come true the way I would like them in my lifetime but it is still well with my soul.

Life is good. It is well. I will be content. I will be satisfied. I am content. I am satisfied.

Refill your heart💝: Do these three things.

I am at the self-check pump refilling my heart.

I am:

Listening to uplifting music.🤗

Watching a beautiful youtube piece with gorgeous ocean views and encouraging scriptures. 🥰

Every day, I do three things to fuel up and fill up:

Read something positive/uplifting.

Watch something positive/uplifting.

Listen to something positive/uplifting.

If I can’t get in all three, I try to do at least one of them.

EVERY DAY.

Why?

It’s crucial to maintain our heart, our mind, our soul, our body.

Otherwise, rust and buildup and weeds and all manner of things will clog up our drains and will drain us of our will!😁😂😳🙌

I’m getting refilled and my strength renewed. These past storms have been rough.

I’m still deep within a fight and storm but taking a breather to look around and remember this is but a test. From life. Of faith. I grow stronger with every willing step forward.

Ah, life. I love the living of you!

Yall are going to have to excuse me. Microphone, or, my blue screwdriver calleth!

Be encouraged. Be still and know He is God.

Note: Every challenge, every battle, every circumstance and situation is won and lost, beloveds, before you lift one finger or raise your voice.

EVERY one of them is tackled FIRST in our mind. Begin, there. Then, take the fight to that which you need to battle and or subdue.

Even if that person or thing is you. Especially if it is you!

The world has purposely sold you a bill of goods. You have been lied to. You have been told to point the blame at others. You have been coddled into believing taking accountability is for the weak.

The most courageous thing we do is when we own up to our messes and OUR choices. Even when those choices have left our lives in a mess and without much choice.

Be prepared to say ‘My bad’, apologize, clean up the mess, and keep it moving. Apologize to you, for acting a fool. Apologize to The Universe for being a pain. Apologize to God for…*shrug*…only God know what, and move forward.

STOP kicking yourself for things long past done. They are done. If you are still living the consequences of some unfortunate choice, ask for God’s Grace and keep it moving. If you have asked for forgiveness, of a thing, God said yes. HE has forgotten it. Stop bringing it up or avoiding Him because you feel judged. Let it go.

It’s time to live life in the PRESENT. Through PRESENT eyes. Not through PAST situations. Life presents us with new and fresh moments EVERY MOMENT OF OUR LIVES!

The Universe is acting and moves IN THE NOW.

Catch up!

Prepare your mind, in advance, then get out there and have a fantastic day. Scoop up plenty of hope, live and joy and sprinkle liberally throughout your day.

Love someone. Take a pebble from someone else’s mountain. Lend your shoulder to someone who is tired. Give an ear to someone who needs to talk. Hold someone in need of care.

Life is short. Get out there and live.

You can lift your burden by lightening the load of another.

An amazing thing happened, beloveds, when I decided to pray for all who were heavy laden.

As I prayed for others, I felt my own burdens lifted away. Or, maybe I forgot about them as I strained to lift the care of others to God to take care of.

Be encouraged. You don’t struggle alone.

Yesterday, I looked at my bank account and cried.😳

Today, I look at my bank account and 😂 laugh.

Be encouraged, beloveds. You are loved and you are not alone.

Cry if you need to. Laugh because you must. Life is short. Embrace it.

You CAN. You WILL. WE HAVE TO!

Note: Beloveds, you are my reason why. I live to let folk know they are loved and not alone. Why? It is my calling. It is my joy. It is my burden. It is God’s Ask of me.

I don’t know why God would ask a goofhead like me. I am much too loud. I am much too clumsy. I rarely know how or what to do, it seems like, to me.

Yet, God called me to love this world. There are days when I would love to tell Him to get someone else for this thankless job.🥰😳😁😳

You are my dilemma, beloveds. Doing what I love pays me nothing. I can’t pay my bills blogging and yakking with you. Yet, it’s all I have dreamed of for more than 30 years.

Long before there was an internet my heart desired to speak to the world in this manner.

Life, er, bills demand my time and efforts and scoff at my desire. Just the other day, I asked God to leave me be to live a small life and let me put in my time at work and help me to live in this small space so I can forget about the world. I can’t afford to love the word the way I long to and it hurts too much to keep living this unrealized life.

Ah, beloveds, I can’t quit you. Your heart is much too important. YOU are much too important.

So, I shall keep giving the best of me. Too as many as I can reach. That I could make each of your dreams come true, I would. T then, keep moving towards your dreams.

Someone do me a favor and ask God to help a sista out. She is tired. She doesn’t know how. She doesn’t know who. God does and He ain’t telling!

Savor every moment: Grateful for the hard.

I’m looking forward to The Superbowl. I am going to savor EVERY play. In Superbowls past, I would pick a side and then live and die by what I wanted to see happen.

If my chosen team won, I was happy. If not, I was annoyed for days. It felt as though I had lost. It was MY team. So, we were supposed to win.

Now, I salute the combatants and root for an awesome game. Okay, I lean a bit more towards Patrick Mahomes, but don’t tell.

Enjoy your life, beloveds. Our life is OUR SUPERBOWL! We don’t get another. Best we put our best self into our Superbowl and gather as many experiences as we can.
