Fight the hardestโฆ
When you want to quit the most.
Fight the hardestโฆ
When you see no way out.
Fight the hardestโฆ
When even your most ardent supporters have walked away.
Fight the hardestโฆ
When everything in you is tired.
Fight the hardestโฆ
When the night seemingly will not end.
Fight the hardestโฆ
When every doubt you have are singing in unison.
Fight the hardestโฆ
When you find yourself ten steps back for every step taken.
Fight the hardestโฆadd whatever you’d like here. Just keep on fighting.

#YourLifeMattersToMe
Note: Yesterday was a toughie. I found myself sooooooooooo hard on me, beloveds.
I was raised to be a giver. I was taught to give and to do for folk and don’t worry about me as God would look after me. He has.
Financially, I gave away as much as I could. I enjoyed giving. I still do. That said, the tornado wiped away every cushion, snatched my confidence, stole my vision of the future, and robbed me of my eternal optimism.
I’ve been fighting to regain those things. I didn’t realize how much I allowed my job to be my identity/safety. I am grateful for that tornado for having revealed that horrible lie.
That lie, that I HAD to be tied to THAT job, to any job, for security and safety, had kept me from pursuing my dreams.
That lie, helped me make excuses for my lack of pursuing my dreams with all that I have.
That lie, kept me from looking further than the rent, the light bill and a few odds and ends.
That lie, beloveds, has caused much more devastation than the tornado did.
I am rebuilding. I am fighting. I am standing on FAITH now. That’s something.
I find myself fighting words today. I hope someone understands what I am trying to say. I’m still trying to figure things out. I’m still trying. Ah. Aha! We fight on. Be encouraged. Keep moving FORWARD. Keep looking UP.
One step.
One step.
One step.
You are loved.
You are NOT alone.
Keep on beingโฆYOU!
