Trauma does NOT discriminate

Tough times happen to us all.  We are all going through something.  We all face challenges that bring us to our knees  Literally! I  can attest to that!

Still,  beloveds, we CAN overcome EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM AND OBSTACLE we face.

Easily? Hecks to the naw! Still,  we rise, as we CHOOSE to fight on

This stroke is teaching me humility,  In real time! Ow!!

Trauma happens to us all. Trauma gives us a chance to heal.

I have to learn how to speak clearly again. I no longer like the sound of my voice. I don’t sound like me. I don’t feel like me . I look forward to the day when I do.

Take time to heal. Don’t rush it. Healing takes time. A long time. In the meantime, keep going. You get some rest. When was the last time you allowed yourself to rest.

Life is short. Much shorter than I knew. What are you doing with the time?

Note: The past few days have been incredibly dark and troubling. It feels as though  I have lost more than the ability to walk and use my hands. My identity is shaped by my words. Words have been my life for the whole of my life.

God, for reasons known only to Him, has allowed my voice, for my words, to be struck dumb. He has allowed my song to be silent. Why? Only God knows  All I know is to fight to find my son once again.

I just stopped by to encourage those who have lost their voice,  for all who have been laid bare. Through your own hand or by the hand of forces, unknown, you find yourself here with me

We are now faced with the choice to move forward or to walk away in  despair.

I choose life. I choose love. I choose hope    What about you? Asking for A Friend. In case no one has told you today.  I love you and so does He. Keep looking up.  Keep moving FORWARD.
