Life was exceedingly hard and heavy, yesterday.
My backpack, filled with tears, hard, grief and the unknown. It was much too heavy for me, for my β₯ heart, for my soul, to bear.
Trying to lighten this load, I cried.
Tears.
More tears.
The heavens, began to cry, with me.
Suddenly, He was with me. Truth be told, He had been there, the whole time.
Walking beside me. Silently. In solidarity. His Tears, mingling with mine.
In companionship, we walked. We cried. We smiles, through tears, so precious that His Nail-scarred Hand tenderly, gently, placed them, in His Backpack.
Stunned, I sneaked a peek, into His Backpack. All I saw were huge boulders. They looked awfully heavy. He said they were. Which is why He had taken the from me.
I told Him all I had given Him was this pitiful mess, called my messes, my missteps, my seemingly wrong tries. I cried, telling Him I was trying. I was! Just getting nowhere.
Nodding, He walked with me. Silently. Still.
The way, grew harder. His Sweat seemed almost as blood. Yet, He smiled. His Gaze, now looking afar off. He looked towards a hill He had encountered a forever ago. Long before I was born.
This hill, which had given Him the strength to carry my burdens, my boulders, now.
Grateful, I never wanted our walk to end. I didn’t mind hard, now. Now knowing, precious walking, with Him, would be mine.
Today.
Tomorrow.
Alway.
Steps, now lightened, we began to stomp in puddles made from the meat of tears shed by others. Those, who were lost. Those, who were lonely.
I asked if we could go and find the source of their tears. He said ‘let’s go’
Now, we walk, in search of others, in need of having their burden(boulder) lifted.
Be encouraged. We are coming. We are just up the road, a piece…

Note: Be encouraged. It’s okay to cry. Tears are healing. Mine have been seven years, in the making. When folks try to stop you from crying It’s because they are uncomfortable. That’s a they problem. Honor your heart. Cry, beloveds. Folk are hurting. I cry for all who are burdened. My tears are my meat, today. Ah, life, you crushing a sistaπ₯π©΅
