I believe in ME now.
Wow.
I had NO idea, beloveds, how little I believed in MY ability to:
Reach, the world.
Touch, the world.
Love, the world.
Yes, I gave my all. Yet, there was ALWAYS this hidden fear that I just wasn’t good enough, rich enough, pretty enough, bold enough, young enough.
Truth, my ugly, or so I thought, was just too ugly to be loved. Yikes!
I no longer feel that way. It saddens me that there are millions who feel this way. Beautiful souls. On the outside, they are stunning. On the inside, they live as imposters. Thinking all they are, are trophies or baggage or burdens.
I ache for the beautiful, for the rich, for the creative, for the athletic. Their lives are pursued by clout chasers, enablers and all those who are trying to get what they have.
If you find yourself in those categories, beloveds, I got you.
If you find yourself in the hidden ugly category, I got you, as well. We are ALL beauty, at times. We are ALL ugly, at times.
I wear my ugly, unapologetically, as I KNOW that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. As are you.
I speak freely, of these things, so others may lift their head and be free of the shame and burden they carry needlessly.
Be encouraged.
Keep reaching out.
Keep loving.
Keep trying.
Your try is beautiful.
As are you.
As am I.
Take care of you, today.
You are loved.
You are NOT alone.
Cassandra
