Repair your broken dreams.

It’s time to repair my broken dreams.

Months ago, I fail and broke my favorite desk and laptop computer I paid more than $1,000 for.

I cried for days. I could not bring myself to pick up the pieces and throw the desk away. I could not look at my laptop let alone open it. Every time I looked upon the shattered glass, it reminded me of all I had lost.

I learned to work around the remnants of the accident. Soon, other things began to pile up around it. Yet, I was too weary and brokenhearted to fix things.

I became angry with me. I blamed me for my clumsiness. I blamed God for not catching me. I blamed The Universe for not warning me. I blamed life for just being life.

Eventually, I grew tired of watching the sad tired mess. I was ready to move past the accident.

I forgave myself. I picked up the pieces of my shattered heart and moved forward.

I use what parts of the desk I could use and threw the rest away. I hooked up my laptop to the television so I can use it as a display. I moved on. I move on.

I am preparing my dreams. I am repairing my dreams. I’m using this broken laptop to bring my dreams into reality. I can do it. I will do it!

Life is short beloved. If things have been broken in your life, clean up the mess and move on with your life. You have things to do.

If you need time to heal, that’s okay. Give yourself space to live within the mess for a while. Then, move forward. Use what you can. Discard what you can no longer use.

You owe it to you to keep moving forward.

moving forward with you,

Cassandra
