I used to give my sad to mom. She’d tell me everything would be okay and would send me on my way.
What do I do with my sad now? Can I give it to You?
asking for a friend(Me), Cassandra

Note: God’s Silence is awful loud just now. The world is screaming. My heart is stirred. What voice do I listen to. His Silence or the world’s unrelenting noise? Asking for a friend…
I didn’t know if I was to sit, move, stand or run.
I found myself paralyzed. For days. I did not like the inertia.
I decided to prepare a meal. Meal prepared, I felt like moving forward and inviting someone for a meal.
I moved forward. I stretched my hand and offered a meal. I dined with greatness. The Universe had accepted my invitation.
Now, we both sit. Still. Waiting. Life will be joining us shortly…
waiting patiently(sorta) Cassandra

Note: While you are awaiting greatness, beloveds, do your best not to fill the waiting with gloom, doom, and dread. Fill the waiting with laughter, with joy, with gratitude, with grace, with love.
I drug my old feeling self out of bed. I tried. I tried some more. Silence greeted my tries. Again. Again!
That’s okay, beloveds. I will be back tomorrow with more try. The Universe WILL answer if for no other reason than to shut this old lady up already. 🥰😁🤣⏳
Keep going, beloveds. Refuel, as needed. Rest, when needed. Then, get going.
This has been a tough year. For most of us, I suspect.
I gave myself permission to stop trying to move forward and just breathe. I enjoyed The US Open Golf tournament.
The winner dealt with unimaginable adversity. So much so, beloveds, he had basically shot himself out of the tournament.
Then, storms rolled in. A 90 minute delay ensued. He used this time to remind himself he was STILL in it. He came storming out of the delay, pun intended.
In the span of 90 minutes, this man used the storm to reset himself.
I am trying to do the same. It’s not over for me. Even though it FEELS like it is.
Be encouraged. Encourage someone else. We all need one another.
These times SHALL pass.
In the meantime, have a cup of tea or coffee. Read a book. Reach out to a friend. Don’t suffer in silence, beloveds. Your needs are just as important as anyone else’s.
I was tired, beloveds. Tired of the grind. Tired of feeling old. Tired of the lonely.
I quit!
A funny thing happened, though, on the way to quit…
My want to got up. Day said “let’s go!”. The Universe had a cup of coffee ready. God has a pat on the shoulder waiting. Life had a nice boot to the rear all teed up and waiting to deliver said boot to my posterior!
I found my try waiting with my phone and headphones. Joy had the music cranked up.
My chair was waiting for a good chair dance.
How could I stay pitiful with want to acting such a fool!
I just stopped by to deliver a boot to the rear of someone in need.
Get up!
We got thangs to do!
Quit is NOT a word in our vocabulary.
Try harder.
Pound on that door harder.
Stop using age and or lack as an excuse.
Stop using lack of knowledge as an excuse.
I say these things to me first, beloveds.
Maybe the fight is so hard because we are on the verge of our breakthrough? Let’s find out, eh?
I was talking to a friend and admitting I don’t know HOW to get on the other side of this particular fear of being old. I’ve decided to drag old with me everywhere. It will either get bored or get in line.
Be encouraged. I’m fixing to go make some more corny videos to encourage someone. Whatcha going to do with your doubts and fears?
