Build on the right foundation: Can I admit to being an idiot?

I’m an idiot. I admit it.

I had spent the last few years building on a foundation of fear and doubt. Doubt in my abilities. Fear that I won’t be successful, so I didn’t really try. Not for me, anyway.

I was an idiot. I listened to a world that had no clue. None of us knows what we can accomplish. The only way to find out is just to find out.

I have been having a blast rebuilding myself these last few weeks. I am building my new Youtube channel the right way. I spent all day coming up with scripts in a schedule for the month.

I am building something sustainable. I’m building something that I can maintain whether I feel like it or not. I’m bit on something that is easy to follow.

In the past, I was so meticulous about my job. Yet as soon as I clocked out, I actually clocked out on my life. I told myself I didn’t want to do anything that would cause me to work because I had given everything at my job. I had nothing left for me. I had nothing left for my dreams. What a big dummy I was.

I freely admit to being an idiot. That said, I doubt I am the only one. I wonder who has a courage to admit they did the same. That they are probably doing the same thing right now?

Don’t be harder on yourself. When you knew better, you did better. I’m doing better. I’m choosing to put my focus in getting my life situated the right way.

I am using my hard work to build a future for myself, not just for my new job. I am being consistent in every aspect of my life. I am rebuilding my health. I have built me time into my day. I am building a balance between work and play.

I have made sure to include my spiritual side, my funny side, my hopeful side.

I just stopped by to encourage someone. Starting with me. It’s time that we all took better care of our personal lives. It’s time that we gave that same seriousness to ourselves as we have given to our jobs, to our friends who are church into our community.

We can’t give out what we don’t have for ourselves. I encourage you to stop and assess what you are doing with your life. Are you including you up in those dreams and plans of yours?

What do you want to do with the rest of your life? Begin doing those things.
