Perspective: Lost does not mean lost.

*sigh*

Yesterday was challenging. Life changing even.

I had decided to change course. Rather,  I had decided to take THE leap of faith.

In me. In my dreams.

Gathering my gumption, I changed course. I steered towards something I have ALWAYS wanted to do.

I went down a new path. I saw a new corridor. There was a door there.

I knocked. Strangers greeted me. The place was unfamiliar.

I looked around. I didn’t recognize anyone. I looked in the mirror. A stranger looked on me with compassion.

For a moment, just a slight one, I wanted to retreat. Back to the familiar. I was lost.

You are not lost, said God. You are simply in a new place. He told me to fear not. He told me to enjoy this new place. He told me to find my comfort in the growth I had found.

Ah.

Aha!

I find myself in a new place.

All is NOT lost. I have been found. Here. In this new place. It’s up to me to receive, to rejoice, to embrace these new surroundings. I think I will.

content and not lost,
Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: Fear not, beloveds, if and as you find yourself in a new situation or circumstance. Enjoy it. Embrace it.

Yes, it will take time to get comfortable in and with new things. I am learning to not seek comfort. I’m learning to simply seek and enjoy what I find. Ah, God. What do I do with me now?

One step.

One step.

One step.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU!
