We tell ourselves a story everyday. We tell ourselves whether the day is gonna be a good day or a bad one.

We tell ourselves we can do something or we can’t do something.

We tell ourselves will meet somebody or we won’t meet someone.

We tell ourselves our day is either gonna be a disaster or it’s gonna be a great day.

We are the author of our story. Tell yourself a new story. Tell yourself today is going to be an outstanding day.

Then, make it an outstanding day!

Today was a rough day workwise. I had no idea what I was doing. I learned a lot. I laughed a lot. It was an outstanding day!

Too often, people use what happened in their dau to determine whether the day was wonderful or awful. Everything that happens is a teaching moment. Whether we accept the teaching is up to us.

My work day has ended. I’m going to enjoy me some football. In the past, I would have carried on about how rough the day had been worthwise. Now I laugh and keep it moving. I learned a lot. I laughed a lot. Priceless.

I promise myself I would do three pieces every day. This is me keeping my promise to myself. It has helped my writing. It has helped me keep to a schedule. I am enjoying keeping my promises that I make to myself.

It takes discipline to be good to yourself every day. I am learning to be more disciplined when it comes to myself. I am disciplined all day long for the world and my job. I know I am as important as my job in the world.

I hope you are okay today. I thought of you often. I pray for you much. Take care of yourself today. Being courageous you know that you are loved and not alone.

Keep being you. Enjoy being you. I am enjoying getting to know myself. I love being fifty five. Who knew?

It has been one of those days.

I didn’t want to work today.

I work today.

I didn’t want to miss mom today.

I missed mom today.

So much so I let the snooze button collect my tears. I never use a snooze button. I like to get up before the alarm.

My heart did not want to awaken and confront another day without mom.

The entire day felt like work.

So much so I ended my work day an hour early.

I need to love on mom another way. I am about to have a cup of coffee with her and talk about missing her.

The job has been hard. The new training has been hard. Life is then hard. My finances have been hard on me. Hard it had been especially hard on me.

Ah, hard. Can’t you give me one day of easy?

I have been enjoying spending the last waking hours of the day to myself. I have given my all to the world and to God. And the rest of the day is for me. Delicious.

I’m going to board the world watching all kind of youtube videos from all over the world. I enjoy learning about different cultures. I enjoy languages I have no idea what people are saying. We are loving the same language I believe.

Ah, world. Why are you still so silent to such a loud heart as mine? I would love to sit down and get to know you and have you get to know me.

Life is short. Get out there and live! YOUR way. There are plenty of folk who can’t wait to meet you.

I bought some chicken strips that were a bit too peppery. What did I do? I added some eggs and sweet pickles and made some chicken salad! Sometimes, you just have to add some different things to produce a different meal.
