YIKES!

Pray for a sista!!

I am either having another stroke or possibly a brain bleed. They want to do a MRI but I am too claustrophobic. If they sedate me the neurologist says will surely have a stroke on the table.

I need a miracle quick, fast and in a hurry!

Fear: You are going to have another stroke.  You will HAVE to fear me for the rest of your life.

Me: I DON’T THINK SO! SHUT IT UP!!

Beloveds, do NOT allow fear to scare you to death! Tell fear to shut it up and keep living your best life!!

When my twin sister died, this past December, I  didn’t know if I could live without her. Although, I miss her terribly, she watches over me. With mom. With dad. With those who have gone before me.

Before you close your eyes tonight, I want you to remember something…


You made it through today.
No matter what today looked like…
No matter how many challenges you faced…
No matter how many questions are still waiting for answers…

Sometimes we are so focused on what we still need to do that we forget to celebrate what we have already survived.
Maybe today was filled with appointments.
Maybe today was filled with pain.
Maybe today was filled with uncertainty.
Maybe today simply took more strength than you thought you had.
But Beloveds…
You are still standing.
You are still trying.
You are still moving forward.
And that is something to be proud of. 🌱
Tonight, give yourself permission to rest.
You do not have to solve everything before you sleep.

Hang in there. We  CAN do ALL things as needed. I’m super tired. They:

Turn me every other five seconds 

They draw blood every other two!

Sleep is an impossibility.

EVERY other five minutes they are are asking if this hurts, if that’s numb, if something or isn’t doing this AND that!

Whew! I really am trying to keep my wits and sanity about me .

The ONLY keeping me from running away has been the food. I’m going to gain a million pounds.

I need a hero. I could use a shoulder. Or, maybe a good cry. Maybe, both.

Hang on to your humor and your dreams and your faith for dear life. I tried to send a bit of love yesterday. I was too exhausted to send much. Thankful, God and I have tons to share!
