Then, lost my mind, in football, fruit snacks and a whole lotta naps. Delicious.

Yea, yea, folks will yammer on and on about your being selfish. Smh. Note, THOSE type folk are ONLY thinking of THEIR interests, not yours. Tell them to kick rocks. Better, ignore them.

Note: The reason WHY I write this blog is to let folk KNOW they are loved and not alone. I don’t seek you out for likes and money. Yes, I enjoy seeing a like or two. They give me warm fuzzies. Today, I write. Unapologetically. In the hope that others, that you, may take courage and live out your foolish dreams. Foolishly, joyfully and without apologies.

Being me is a lot. I admit it. Unapologetically. I am loud. Can’t help it. Always have been. Always will be.

Folks don’t like it, when I get quiet.

My quiet, disquiets them.

Why?

Beats me.

I think folk envy loud folk. I think quiet folks, wish they could be more loud. They can. They are afraid.

Why?

Cuz, life want loud folk to shut up. Loud folks tend to point out the elephant in the room. The world does not care for elephants, to be fed.

Good grief! WHY I woke up, in such a philosophical mood, is beyond me. I want to sleep. My heart wants to talk of elephants and quiet.

Must we, be defined, by who we loved, by who we had, by who we didn’t have?

Must we, define ourselves, by where we live, where we didn’t live, who did or did not live, by us?

Must our children, or lack thereof, bear the brunt, of our definition? Must THEY be, in order for us to feel as if we, belong?

What then, does this, make our children?

Oh, that we lived, in a world, where our merit is by OUR merit. Yet, we have unmerited favor, by He who loves us, just cuz.

Just cuz, we are.

Never forget:

The world will tell you not to. Tell the world to kick rocks and care, anyway. You and I are defined, partially, aren’t we, by…?
