Today required a lot of patience.

Too bad I had none.

Nada.

Zilch.

Not even a smidge.

I had to keep going, though.

No choice.

I HAD to.

I had no idea how it’s gonna get through the work day.

I had to find a way.

I found a way.

Don’t ask me how.

I just did it.

I didn’t think I could.

I did.

I told myself I would try.

I tried.

I did.

Note: Today was one of the hardest days I have had in forever. Bad news everywhere. Nothing working anywhere. Hell breaking out every which a way. I had two choices:

I could quit.

Or, I could quit.

I told quit to shut up, kick rocks and take THREE seats.

Then, I got to be about being about it. In times past, I would have been lamenting and rending my clothes and wailing about the ‘unfairness’ of it all. Today was being unfair. So what!? I had thangs. I did as many thangs as hard would allow me to get done.

I laughed. A lot. I cried. Just a wee bit. I fussed. For a few minutes. I told God ‘Ow’. God replied ‘Aha!’ How great is that?

Be encouraged, beloveds. Keep going. Even when it is hard. Especially when it gets hard. In case no one has told you today: I love.

Why?

Beats me. I just know them darn things can stay in the way for a looooooooooooooooooooooog time.

The obstacles, beloveds, are besides the point. The point is:

Will you or won’t you?

Period.

Will you:

Have faith?

Keep going?

Do what’s needed because it is needed?

Whether you gain from doing the deed.

Whether you lose from doing the deed.

WILL you do the deed if asked?

Or, won’t you?

Either way, be honest with you. Sometimes, the doing is just too hard, in your opinion. This is understood. You CAN do the thing, though. How do I know? Because He said you could/would.

It’s a trust thing. You trusting YOU. He trusts you. How about stepping out, in FAITH, so you can see what HE sees in you? Asking for A Friend.
