God, give me back my voice.

Me:God, give me back my voice!

God: Why?

Me: I  need it!

God: What will you DO with it? What have you DONE with it?

Me: Owww!

God : I  know.

Me : Geeeeeeez. Low blow!

God: What do ye with this silence? What have you DONE with the silence thus far?

Me: No fair! That’s cold.

God: True that.  Well?

Me: Cry.  Complain.  Beg.  Plead.

God  : For what?

Me : I want YOU to fix what has been broken.

God: What’s that?

Me: My  heart.

God: What can I do?

Me : Give me back my voice.

God: Again,  what have you, will you,  can you DO with the words.

Me :

God: I know the way has been hard, beloveds. Trust ME.

Me: K.

Whew!!!! Beloveds, finding my way,  finding my new voice has been:

Hard.

Maddening.

Embarrassing.

Annoying.

There has been little joy in feeling like a moron as I find my voice.  My speech therapist went off on me for calling myself a moron.  Geeez! Oops.  

Be encouraged, beloveds.  Finding your voice takes:

Time.

Heartache 

Heartbreak.

Let life break your heart so that God can heal ALL your broken pieces.  He can. He will. He will NEVER leave or forsake you or me. God keeps  His Promises.

Quitting is NEVER an option.  NOT EVER!! We can. We WILL.  WE HAVE TO!!

Let the tears flow go.

Last night, the dam broke. Finally.

I cried.  I wept. I raged. I whimpered.

I cried for all  I have/had lost. I wept for all that can/ will never be again.

I hurt for ALL the hurt. I sobbed for all the broken pieces. I thought the tears would never end.

They did. Eventually. Suddenly.

Then, I  arose. To begin. Yet again.

Let the tears flow/go.

Then…rise. Again. Again. And, still, again As many times as it takes.

Ah!

Life is hard just now. Ow! Whew!

I started physical, occupational AND speech therapy last week.

YIKES!

OWWW! .

WHEW mama!!

Every day hurts now. SSI have cried. I have laughed. I have had it!! I did NOT want to get up this morning and exercise. I got up anyway. I exercised anyway.

I’m not happy I had a stroke. I am learning HOW to live in spite of and with it. I wonder if things will ever get easy. I hope so. I wonder.

I stopped by to encourage someone. Starting with me.

Me: I ran when nobody else  could

Me : I came when nobody thought I should

God: I know.

Me: Why, then, ME, God?

Me: Just because You asked these things of  me?

God: That’s right.

Me : Nuff said.

God: Love. Give. Run. Go.

Tonight, I cried

Tonight, I cried. In compassion, for me. For all I lost. I cried for that which will  never be.

Then, I rose. I move forward. I embrace the process. I work towards revealing the greatness that resides deep inside of me.

Still.

I am.

I still can.

I will.

So, too, must you, beloveds. Get a move on it. We don’t have time to waste.

Your life is far from over. Stop judging yourself so harshly. You give your all, on the daily. Let this be enough. YOU are enough.
