Have never felt more defeated than today.

Too often we wait for something or for God or for this or for that.When all we have to do is to turn on the light in our lives.

There are things we can do right now.That will help pave the way for us if we would just do it.

There are things life has been trying to get us to do for many years but we have neglected to do them for all kinds of reasons.

I’m trying my best to get out of my own way. I am surprised at the amount of times I have gotten in my own way.

I’m no longer afraid of turning on the light. Okay.Sometimes I am still afraid, Yet, I turn them on. I need to see.

It’s nice been able to see. I look forward to learning more about me. In the light.

The world challenges us daily. The world wants for us to beat ourselves down. The world wants us to feel small.

It’s important to declare who you are. Sometimes, the noise around us is sooooooooooo loud. It’s hard to remember who we are.

It’s hard not to look around and think we have done enough.

If you don’t ask and answer, for yourself, the world and others will speak for you and will convince you of things that are not true.

Slowing down will get you there much faster.

I am a problem solver.

Really.

I am.

At work, the biggest part of my job is solving problems.

ALL day.

And, if I can’t solve the problem, I am supposed to know who can and then make THEM SOLVE THE PROBLEM!

As you can imagine, when I get off work, THE last thing in the world I want to do is to solve another blasted problem.

This is a problem.

Because, after work, I must do the work of figuring out MY problems.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

On top of that, beloveds, I have to fight to not want to solve every problem for every person in the entirety of the world.

I am soooooooooooooooooo glad I have learned how to NOT take on the problems of every man, woman and child. Yes, I fret. I pray. I wonder. I lament. I rage and carry on about why the world most folks are not raging and carrying on for one another.

But, I also allow folk to work out their own hard. I am done with the pillow handing out thing. The hard is necessary.

I stopped by long enough to implore you to stop or to not become the problem solver of the world.

Your fam will figure things out.

Your friends will figure things out.

You will figure things out.

The rest will come out in the wash.

I have done my day.

Now, I rest.

What of tomorrow, you ask?

Tomorrow is not my problem…lol.

I found myself fighting not to allow THEIR annoyance to annoy me. How annoying!

The more I tried, the more annoyed folks became annoying. I had to pause and tell myself to enjoy my day and get some act right.

I got some act right.

It’s a gorgeous day. Why the world would I waste it on someone else’s mad? I don’t even know what the world they are all mad about. They probably don’t know.

I just stopped by long enough to keep you from letting other folk’s foolishness get you to acting foolish.

I say we all go and grab some snacks.

Note: I used to dread Mondays, beloveds. And I mean ddddddddreeeeeeaaaaaaad them! Just the THOUGHT, of a Monday, sent my Fridays into SUCH a tailspin. Saturdays, you could forgetaboutit. I spent the whole of Saturday lamenting the upcoming Monday. So you KNOW Sunday was a wrap. Sundays were spent in holy terror of the coming Monday.

What, praytell, was I all fired up about Mondays for? Beats me, beloveds. I was just certain it would be the start of a hard week and having to go through a ton of hard this, that, the other and more where that and those came from.

As it turns out, none of the horror shows ever showed up. I tended to enjoy Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and the rest of the week. Eventually, I learned to get some act right and to tell myself to shut up and enjoy the start of my week.

Enjoy the start of your week. Enjoy each moment in between. Life is short. Also, we too busy doing thangs than to fret about things that will never happen. Be encouraged. Asking for A Friend. In case no one has told you yet today: I love you.

Note: I just finished washing the dishes from an exceptionally wonderful meal. It was soooooo tasty, I prepared more and did meal prep to enjoy for tomorrow. How great is that? What did I have? Not telling…lol. Be encouraged. Have some fun having your me time.
