Note: I have done many a dumb thing in my fifty five years. That said, I am learning and have learned to forgive myself.

I forgive myself for all the times I gave up on me too early.

I forgive myself for having given up on relationships because I didn’t think I was enough.

I forgive myself for having gotten into relationships that did not serve me because I did not think myself worthy enough.

I forgive myself for not pursuing dreams because I was afraid to try.

I forgive myself for not being the greatest daughter.

I forgive myself for not being the perfect friend.

I forgive myself for being an obstinate child of God at times.

I forgive myself for not always being a good steward over my finances.

I forgive myself for not always being a good steward over my body.

I forgive myself for not always being a good steward over my spirit.

I forgive myself for not always being as empathetic as I could have been.

I forgive myself for all the times I chose pride over fellowship and understanding.

I forgive myself all the time I chose my anger over healing and forgiveness.

I forgive me for these and many other things. I will continue to forgive myself as necessary in order to live a better life for myself and others.

I have been enjoying watching Van lifers. I find them fascinating. They are in every age, sex, color and money bracket.

Today, I ran into one who was thinking of giving up because of the judgement of others.

Note: It’s Friday. Time for my Friday heart check. How are you doing beloveds? If your week went anything like mine, you’re happy the weekend has come.

We have done our week. Now, it’s time to rest and get ready for the next steps ahead. It’s it’s time to lay down and day dream. It’s time to ask The Universe to make our dreams come true next week. You won’t know unless you ask.

Ask for the things that you need and want in life. We only have this one go around. Make it a good one. Don’t waste your days party and because you only have one life to live.

Be sober. Be mindful. Embrace these days. You don’t know how many you will have. I’m doing the best I can to embrace mine.

Speaking of embrace, remember that you are loved and that you are not alone. I love someone starting with you.

Good habits are hard to break.

I told myself I was gonna take a few days off from writing. Work has been challenging and I have been super tired.

I found that I had saved up enough time to take a day off with pay.

I have been so focused on hanging in there. And trying to make is meet that I had not realized I had saved up enough time where I could take a day off with pay.

I had used up all my time due to fighting with grief and not feeling the greatest.

I told myself. I would not allow grief to stop me from living my life the best way that I know how.

I kept getting up even when I didn’t want to. I kept doing the dishes even when I didn’t want to. I kept writing even when I didn’t want to. I kept trying even when I didn’t want to.

One morning, I woke to find the day was not quite as  hard as yesterday. I found myself laughing in the day. I found myself reaching out to others in the day. I found myself rejoicing in the day.

Good habits really are hard to break. Good habits will keep going even when you can’t. Good habits will get you out of bed. Good happens will keep you working. Good habits will keep you trying.

Hang in there, beloveds. Don’t worry yourself if you’re having a hard time starting some good habits. Just keep trying. Every day.

Over time, good habits will take over for you. Good habits will slap things out of your hands. Good habits will put on your walking shoes. Good habits will take you for a walk.

Keep going. You got this.

🗒: I find myself puttering around at almost 2 am. Why?:
