Note: Have an amazing week. It is taking everything within me to maintain my joy. between the storms and vertigo life has not been funny. I have had to change how I do things. I work as long as I can, because there are days when I just can’t work. in the past, I would have driven me up ten walls. I have learned and I’m still learning to work with what I have. 56 is teaching me many a lesson. 56 goes to bed when she wants to and doesn’t care if it’s in the middle of the afternoon!

Have an amazing rest of your day. Be sure to get your me time in there. Make sure to cut yourself some slack. Remember, you’re doing the best that you can. That’s all you can ask of yourself.

You don’t have to wait for your 🥓 bacon to arrive.

I was hungry. I wanted bacon and eggs. I placed an order.

My order was a few minutes away. I looked at what I did have and realized I could have most of my meal prepared and make the bacon when it came. I didn’t have to wait till the bacon came to start preparing my meal.

I did just that. I had things timed perfectly. In just a bit, I was happily munching on a feast. This had me thinking about my life and all that I can do while I’m waiting for my dreams to show up and show out.

You don’t have to wait for this to happen before you do some things. Use what you have. Take advantage of your now. This is the only time that we get. Let’s make the best of it.

Food Court Chronicles: High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

The following harrowing saga takes place in Food Court. Alas, the case of The Almost Brownies was soooooo egregious, it was almost too much to share…*gasp*

Attempts had been made, by the dastardly Cook, to destroy the evidence and poison the jury pool. Fortunately, alternates were found, and a hearing was held.

The Universe was tapped as The Prosecutor. God played the judge as…*shrug*. He already had a robe on so got the part.

Cassandra, woefully short of brains, dumbly chose to defend herself…*shouts of no could be heard extending from the peanut gallery*.

lol…

I made another attempt at homemade brownies. I don’t know why I keep putting myself through these changes. I can never get them right. I either overcook them, or I undercook them. There has been no happy medium. OMG!!!

I am almost ready to give up on them. Store bought brownies are looking better and better to me.

These stupid brownies are metaphor of my life right now. I just can’t seem to get things right. I will keep trying. creating something from nothing is not easy. It takes a lot of trying and failing. Failing and trying. Ack.

I just stopped by to encourage you to keep on trying. Keep on burning those brownies. We shall get it right sooner or later. Or, kill a bunch of brownies in the process.

People are running around everywhere trying to get us all in a hoopla. Everything is crashing. Everybody hates everybody else. We will not overcome all of that is going on.

Chaos reigns in fear. Chaos NEEDS fear to survive.

Nah fam, we don’t have time to waste on lies and foolishness.

Life truly is what we ALL make it. We ALL get the opportunity to shine a light, to be a light, to make a way, to BE the way.

Let’s not fall for the old trick of division and fear. Let’s come together and talk to one another. Let’s find time common ground. Let’s decide we’re not going to waste our lives screaming yet the television and our phones.

I have done away with doom scrolling. I rarely use the social media apps except to post positive videos and messages. Life is much too short.

I just stopped by to let you know how much I love you care about your life. Turn off the phone and talk to your neighbor. Get outside for a walk. Stop living in a silo. Enjoy the stars. Enjoy the fresh air. Enjoy your life since you only get one of them. Take care.

Note: There are days when all we have the strength to do is try just a little bit. Just getting out of bed is a real effort. But that’s okay. Life can be that way. In the meantime, keep doing the best that you can. It’s all that life requires of us.

Keep trying. The best is yet to come for you and me.

I am FINALLY learning that I truly am more than what I have or will produce in life. Just because my finances are a wreck, from lack of being able to find a job yet in this wrecked economy,  does NOT mean I am a wreck. I have taken cared of myself, financially, for the last 50 plus years years. It has been terribly disconcerting to find myself lacking.

This time WILL pass. I want it to pass with me being a better me. This time has shown me how precious life is. How fleeting moments are. Lasting ones.

Life is more than a paycheck. So much more.

Be encouraged, beloveds. If you find yourself in a wrecked stage of life. You are NOT being punished. Pushed? Certainly. Extended? Absolutely. Challenged? Undoubtedly.

In the meantime, enjoy your day. As shall I.
