It’s important to know your why.
YOUR why!
Why YOU do things.
Why things are important to YOU.
WHY you are doing what you are doing.
Why?
So you won’t be doing someone else’s why. That’s why!…lol.
Too often, beloveds, we do because it’s how it has always been done.
Or, because mom/dad/bro/sis/fam/friend did them.
Or, because the world says so.
Or, because those who secretly mean us no good, says so.
Or…
Enough with the or!
Again, why are you?
Why do you?
Why will you?
Why won’t you?
Why did you?
Why didn’t you?
I’m so thankful that God asked me why one day. I was always raised you don’t question God. You don’t question authority. You just do what you are told regardless.
Once I started asking myself why, I was able to process things better. I was able to make more informed choices. I was able to take ownership of my life. All of it. I stopped being a passive passenger when I came to my dreams. I was active with everybody else’s dream. When I came to my own dreams, I gave up too quickly on me.
Be sure to know your why. So you won’t get sucked into doing the why of others.
Don’t worry if other folks can’t understand your why. I didn’t start my blog for a long time. I was concerned about what folks would think about the words I wrote.
I was concerned they wouldn’t understand me. Or they would understand did not care for my writing style. Or with think that I was being this that and the other thing. Or…
You get the point. I had so many oars in the water I didn’t begin…😂.
I learned just to write. Period. I learned not to be hurt over the lack of likes. I am no longer fueled by likes or the lack of them. I like you. Period. That is enough for me.
Keep doing your why.
Why?
Because the world needs what only you can provide. Your voice matters. You matter. Your why matters.
Why?
Great question! You are asking the wrong person. Ask God and The Universe. The Universe awaits. Off with you!
