It is so easy to allow ourselves the negative side of life. The future is unknown and it is easy to see boogie men in every corner and closet.
I am fifty five. I come from a generation that was always saying be careful about this. Don’t do that. Don’t go there. Don’t speak out. Don’t speak up. Keep your head down.
I was raised to live my life Siri. And what could happen or what would happen or what should happen or what should happen or what should not happen.
Parents mean well. I don’t blame my parents. I am just giving context.
I am learning to live my life based upon joy and love and perseverance and effort and faith, and so many other things that will move my life forward.
I welcome my future now. I don’t dread my feature. I don’t run from my future. I don’t dismiss my future.
I am doing my best to be a light. I offer my care and concern and prayer and love. I hope those things are accepted. I understand when they are not. I am okay with that. I can live with that.
I appreciate every like in every comment. I appreciate everyone who decides not to like or comment or read or care.
I thank each and every one of you for bringing joy to my heart and my life. I think of you everyday. I laugh about stupid pieces I think to write for you. I think of serious things that may encourage you. I hope for you. I root for you.
