Get out of bed, beloved.

This has been a really tough week. A truly tough year.

I did not feel like getting out of bed today. I didn’t get out of bed for a while. I wallow for a little bit in self-pity. Just a little bit.

I have to fight with my feels for quite a while. Feels were winning, for a time, because I was tired and a bit discouraged and a bit sad and a bit mad.

I told myself to get out of bed. I got out of bed. I told myself to get on with my day. I got on with my day.

I got out for a walk. I could only do one lap around. It wasn’t about the lap. It wasn’t about how long I could walk. The important thing was just to try. The important thing was just to walk. If only but a lap.

One step.

One lap.

One moment.

One try.

One.

Just one, beloveds.

I know. I KNOW the way has been hard. It has.

God KNOWS your way has been hard. No getting around that. It has.

The Universe KNOWS the way has been hard. True that.

So what?

Boo hoo.

Life ain’t always fair.

Now, pity party over we can get after it!

Get out of bed, beloveds. There will be time to rest AFTER.

After what?

Great question!

Keep asking.

Keep going.

growing/going with you,

Cassandra

#YourLifeMattersToMe

Note: Get out of bed. Go on now. You have a life to live. Enough chastising yourself over all you have not done. Do it now…

One step.

One step.

One step.

You are loved.

You are NOT alone.

Keep on being…YOU
