This is NOT the end of you and your dreams. It’s not. Be encouraged.
This morning, I told God I had NO idea how I was going to make it through ten minutes. Let alone ALL day. I told Him I would try. I told ME I would try. If even just a little bit.
The day greeted me with kindness and has laughed with me ALL day. I have had a blast encouraging folks, telling corny jokes, messing up a bit, doing well a smidge and basically making sure my act right keeps acting right.
Please don’t give up on you, beloveds. Not just yet. Please don’t.
We give up much, much too easily on OUR dreams, don’t we? Tell the truth. If to no one other than yourself.
We will slay dragons for everyone, including our enemies. Yet, just as soon as one whiff of adversity comes we are crying foul and what in the fresh hell was that?
I had a long talk with myself. It hurt. I’m glad I did so. I forgave myself for giving up on ME so damned easily. Dammit, Cassandra! Your life and your dreams ARE important! Fight for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
55 has been relentless with me. 55 keeps telling me to keep betting on ME. If I don’t make it, it will NOT be because I have not given every single ounce of try that I hold.
I CAN.
I WILL.
I MUST.
Why?
Because your dreams may be contained in my why.
MY dreams, beloveds, may be contained in YOUR why!
You CAN.
You WILL.
You HAVE TO.
There are too many folks who have given up. If you are one of those folks, it’s okay.
Rest. Then, get to moving!
