One of THE greatest lessons I have learned through living through the hardest times of my life is this:
I don’t HAVE to know what to do because I know WHO to go to.
Simple as that.
Who are you going to? who are you leaning on to support you?
Do you have positive influences in your life? Are you leaning on those who are caring, loving, and supportive of your dreams?
Who are you trusting with that precious heart of yours? Are you with someone simply because they are paying the bills? If so, you can get a job and take care of yourself. You do not have to demean yourself or make yourself less than to keep a roof over your head.
Are you at a job that is bringing out your best self? If not, work towards getting another one. Don’t state a job that is poisoning your soul simply to keep your roof over your head.
When you are in need of counsel, are you going to those who will uplift you and be honest with you?
You don’t need someone who will be condescending to you and pat you on your head. You want someone who will think of you. You want someone who will give you options and let you make the decision for your life.
I seek the counsel of God, FIRST. Then, I reach out to my family and TRUSTED friends.
Finally, I asked myself what I wish for? What I hope for? What I long for?
I’m learning not to rush headlong into a decision. I’m learning to wait. I’m learning to be patient.
I’m learning how to measure twice and to cut once!
I just stopped by to encourage someone. Be encouraged.

Note: Who/what are you turning to/counting on?
One step.
One step.
One step.
You are loved.
You are NOT alone.
Keep on being…YOU!
