My heart has been heavy watching folk tearing each other up for no reason other than they can.
No one seems to want to LISTEN.
Everyone is yelling ‘OW’ but nobody seems to want to stop long enough to ask what is hurting.
Folk seems gleeful of witnessing the suffering of others. My heart does NOT understand this.
We are all better than this.
I just stopped by to encourage folk.
If you can’t find common ground, at least make it safe space.
Listen.
Hear.
Empathize.
Care.
Rinse.
Repeat.
