I find myself a bit sad today. It seemed like there are more and more influencers who are. coming out to be liars. Many have turned to chasing dollars instead of providing the authentic content that drew people to them in the first place. I find that sad.
Instead of using their platform to continue to encourage uplift and entertain others, they see it as a way to cash in a bag. They have lost sight of why they did what they started in the first place.
I find it sad that society has lifted up money to the place where it’s okay to treat others any old kind of way, just so long as you make that money. Life is more than money.
There is nothing wrong with learning from others. I learn from different people every day. Yet, I make certain to search things out for myself. Just because someone said something does not make it true automatically. Just because someone became successful one way does not mean that will be your way. It is just one example of success.
As you pursue success, remember to take everything with a grain of salt. Research things for yourself. understand that just because it worked for him does not mean it’s going to work for you. You may have to tweak things or do things completely differently. That’s okay.
I’m not getting on anyone. Just sharing some thoughts. I don’t think we listen to each other enough. I think people are scared to share what they really think for fear being judged or canceled.
Share your thoughts. Let others feel how they feel. They may be influenced to try your way. They may be steered in a opposite direction. That’s okay as well. We all have to cut one another some slack. We also need to be careful to not put folk on a pedestal.
There are so many bloggers I learned from and enjoy all the time. I marvel at their talent. I tell myself not to be intimidated by the talents of others. I have my own.
Keep on being you. The world means what all you can give us.
