Life sure has been lifing. So much so, beloveds, I was sick of it.
I was sick of the flipping trials already!
Enough, I said. Trials simply laughed, then turned up the heat for my having dared to ask for some respite.
My faith has been pummeled. One night, I angrily told God I was “done!” Normally, I would have left that off and kept it moving. Instead, I found myself wondering if I really was done. I wondered what my life would be like. I had been following him for 30 plus years. What would I do with myself? I was almost afraid to find out.
It was that fear that made me pull the end of the string. I followed it and followed my heart to see where it would lead me. It led me to The Father’s Lap. Ah, God. I love me some You…
Sometime it’s OK to be shaken and stirred and turned upside down. How else would you get turned right-side up?!
What’s so much going on in the world? It is easy to question everything, everyone, and wonder what in the fresh hell is going on.
Be encouraged if you are being tested right now. This too shall pass. We shall make it to the other side of these trials and tribulations.
In the meantime do the best you can to enjoy your day These are all the days that we get. Use them well.
