Your habits work for you. To your service or your detriment.
I woke from a delish nap. Automatically, I headed to the bathroom. After the bathroom, I found myself sitting, grabbing my phone, began editing, creating, and finishing pieces.
I wasn’t thinking. My good habits got about getting after it. Without needing cajoling or bribery. Good habits had thangs to do. I woke from my slumber and became an active participant. My goal had been another nap. Good habits said, ha!
I’m so glad my good habits have gotten so good that they paid no mind when I go into a mini pity party. I am thankful my good habits are used to making myself eat, getting old with my dad, whether I want to or not, and try. and trying to see the best out of life.
I have been pleasantly surprised to find myself reaching for the sunshine when darkness comes to visit. I have not been comfort eating or hiding under the covers. I have been facing my fears. I have been confronting the past. I have been making peace with it.
I’m doing my utmost to own my present and future.
The more darkness I see around me, the more I shine my light. I no longer allow myself to give in to the rage baiting that is going on right now. I choose to live. I choose to love. I choose to remain hopeful and joyful.
Keep doing what you know. Everyday. Good habits will continue to show love for you.
