What a wonderful Sunday this has turned out to be.

I have spent ALL day loving as many folks as I could get my heart around…*hugs self*.

I gave not ONE thought to how bills will be paid. I didn’t consider lonely, who ended up pouting in the corner. Alone!

I could have cared less about all gloom and doom were trying their level best to lay at my feet.

I loved me some Him. He loved Him some me. I loved me some you. Some of you loved me back today!🥰

I LIVED.

How great is that??!

Life is short, beloveds. Please, please, please get out there and make as many precious moments as you can.

The tornado broke my spirit. I’m finding my way back to her. I am annoyed with this fraidy cat me. I want to be the strong tigress I used to be. I long to be her. She is in there somewhere.

In the meantime, beloveds, I encourage you to hang in there. If you are being rebuilt just now, be encouraged. New growth tends to take an awfully long time to come to pass. I just want things done already!

Wait. Patiently. As shall I. In the meantime, try and enjoy your day. Find some joy in there somewhere. Hard is not always so hard when you do so with joy, love and laughter. Take care and be well…

Rebuilding: Looking at you through new eyes.

Me: I’m looking at you through new eyes.

Pain – You have been a friend in a way. You have forced me to seek out comfort. You have forced me out of the shadows. You have caused me to want to heal and to grow. You have brought me closer to God. You have helped me to understand my mom more. He has helped me to understand that life is simply being life. I don’t like it when you show up. Still, I grow each time I allow myself to understand that pain happens to us all. It’s nothing personal for you.

Silence – You have forced me to find my voice. You have made me relentless in my pursuit of my dreams. You are maddening. You make me want to try harder!

Fear – You have taught me that you are nothing but a liar. You have forced me to fight for my dreams and to get beyond you to experience true joy.

Anger – I have learned about patience in dealing with you. I see how much leaning on you has kept me back from experiencing the joy of life had for me. I have been forced to deal with the real reason(s) why I have been angry. I have been forced to confront and deal with disappointment because of you.

Doubt – You force me to question you daily. In so doing, this forces me to question ME. In so doing, I am learning to doubt you while believing in me.

I am learning to look at things through new eyes. I am appreciating all the lessons being learned. I will continue to learn from you. How about cutting me some slack for awhile?

What to feed your spirit to get through anxious moments.

Be encouraged, beloveds.

I just stopped ’round to check on your heart and give some things you can feed yourself to get through anxious moments:

Ask yourself WHY you are anxious – I let my nerves go haywire just by telling myself I was too old to figure things out. Once I laughed at that dumb notion, I started again.

Remember WHY you are doing what you are doing – I had let my mind wander on all the things I could not yet do. Once I focused on my why, I relaxed. I went back to enjoy simply doing me as best as I could.

My spirit has been anxious lately. There are so many negative reports out there. It has been difficult to drown them out. So much so I had to turn off the television and my phone.

I must admit it. It has been difficult standing 10 toes down on faith. I choose faith. I choose me. I choose my try. I don’t know how things will turn out. I do know that I choose to not stand on feelings of anxiousness.

Be encouraged. They will always be things that will cause us to feel anxious. We don’t have to give in to that anxiousness. There are things we can do. There are things we can try.

Keep feeding yourself positive things. Continue living in the moment.

I’m contemplating another attempt at making homemade brownies. I don’t know if the world can withstand that….lol.

We shall do great things.

I am listening to Mandisa’s “Overcomer”. My heart still grieves her loss. I can’t believe she’s gone.

The rest of us left behind HAVE to keep going!

We ARE overcomers! We ARE overcoming!

We CAN.

We WILL!

After Mandisa passed away, beloveds, I wanted to hide this song and never listen to it again. Her loss hurt. Someone soooooo talented and inspiring snatched away much too soon.

Then, Life told me to play her song. She finished her earthly race. My journey has yet to be completed.

I don’t know how many more days I have left. I plan on using them to love as many folks as I can get my hands on!

I love folk. Call me cra cra if you must. I love you anyway!

*Cassandra considers hurling her 50 inch 📺 television over the balcony railing. Cassandra opts not to as it is freezing outside and she won’t have something to watch later.*

Jiminy Cricket, beloveds. I am trying to cram some technology knowledge into this brain of mine so I can get some uplifting videos made so I can encourage folk…*sigh*.

I have never been good at technology of any kind. It intimidates me. I don’t know why. I enjoy learning about any and everything.

For whatever reason, just the thought of doing anything having to do with computers or electronics short circuits my brain. I feel stupid. I feel small. I feel helpless.

EVERY time. The older I get, the harder it is for my brain to relax and learn.

I will overcome this. I HAVE to. My dreams are on the other side of THIS particular hard. Ah, it seems another THIS(fear of computer learning) is trying to keep me from THAT(my dream).

We all have our THIS to fight so we can get on with our THAT.

What is holding you back, beloveds? What is it that is causing you to feel a tad helpless/hopeless?

2025 is the year we FINALLY deal with THIS so we can get on with THAT.

I don’t want to go back to a job that merely pays the rent. Life is short. I am choosing to find a way to monetize my particular brand of foolishness so I can make my living loving on the whole damned world.

If anyone can point the way to a good teaching YouTube channel or blog so I can competently use Capcut and Canva, please post a link in the comments or shoot me an email. Save my 📺 television. 🥰😆
