I’m sorry. The title made me laugh. I’m running a day behind. Or ahead.

The days are moving by so quickly now. It’s time to understand that time was not waiting on any of us.

There is so much my heart wants to say. I could write all day. My heart wants to knock on every door and let folks know how very short life is.

My heart wants to eradicate every hurt. My heart wants to speak with every heart in the world to say be encouraged.

I shall do the best that I can. I will leave the results up to God and The Universe.

How is your heart? Be sure to tend to your heart today. Do something you enjoy. Do something that will make you smile for no reason. Do something that will make me smile. Be encouraged you know you are loved and not alone.

The whole world opened before me: When I decided.

Ah, world.

You opened up the whole of you.

To me.

Just because:

I decided, world, to give you a chance.

I determined, to love you, world, whether you loved me back or not.

I desired, world, to get to know you and allow you to get to know, me.

I offered, the whole of me, to a world who cared not for even a little, of me.

No matter.

I offered/offer anyway.

Because…

I DECIDED.

I did not:

Wait for you, world, to decide.

Wait for you, world, to care for me.

In doing so, my heart opened, wide, and took you, world, all the way, inside.

Leaving me:

Full of:

Life.

Love.

Hope.

Peace.

Joy.

I don’t need you, world, to give me things. I just wish to be a part of you. The whole of you. I desire to enjoy you, world, for the whole of my life. I choose to interact with you, world, with dignity, loyalty, love and truth.

How you respond world, is completely up to you. You shall be the one missing out, on me, should you choose to ghost me or dismiss me.

Ah, God, thank You for allowing me the opportunity to be shunned, by the world. This has only taught me to love the world, more. Just as Jesus does. Just as You do. You love because You ARE Love.

Ah, world, how long can/will you resist me? No matter. I shall continue to love you and call out to you.

Be encouraged, world. Stop all your busyness and get on with the business of spreading care within you for the benefit of all.

Real talk: Leave trouble(s) in the shower.

Trouble was acting a fool trying to cause holy havoc in my life. Ha! I do NOT have time for trouble to be making all this trouble.

In times past, I would have been all up in my feelings. I would have fussed with God. I would have yelled at The Universe. I would have wanted to tell Life to kick rocks!

I would have pouted, shouted and done EVERYTHING except for what was needed:

That’s what I did, this morning. I drowned my sorrows, in the midst of some lovely soap suds. I sang, horribly, as I squished trouble, down the drain. I tapped my foot, all upside trouble’s head and told it to get gone. I got thangs to do.

I got about being about it. I did some thangs. I laughed. I worked. Hard. I worked hard hard. Til hard said ‘hey’ and ‘ow’. Told hard to leave me be, then or get used to me kicking hard all upside it’s hide.

Life is short.

Yea, tough times happen. Life can be terribly hard. So what? Don’t fall for the world’s feedback to run from hard as fast as you can. The ONLY way to learn, is to try. Fail. Try. Fail. Try. Fail. Try. Succeed kinda/sorta. Try. Rinse. Repeat. Simple.

Easy?

No.

So what?

Get on with living. You have things to do. You have dreams to chase down. You have laughs to have. You have folk to love and to hold. You have folks who are waiting to love you. Get going.

The world and people will not always agree with your choices. That’s okay. Keep on being you.

Respect that folks care about you. Let them know you appreciate them and keep living your life. It’s yours.

You can live your parent’s lives. It’s not your fault that they don’t have the skills that you have. It’s not your fault that you don’t want to walk. The path that your parents walk or people in your family have walked.

Doesn’t mean you don’t respect the love them. It just means that’s not what you have chosen to do.

It’s okay to want to live a different way. It’s okay to want to experience another culture. It’s o k to want to move completely away from what those close to you have done.

You are, why is YOUR why.

Because life would be boring if we all did the same thing and thought the same way and lived the same life.

Trouble has been chasing me.

Chased me into the shower. Is the hot water deserted me.

Trouble made a big mistake though, chasing me into that shower!

Plenty.

Makes no sense these feels of mine. They have confabbed. They have conspired. Enemies, it appears, have become friends.

I’m supposed to:

The only things I have together are these chicken strips and french 🍟 fries I have been comfort eating with!

Go away now. Let me hide. I don’t know if I am ready for you. I talk a good game, but I don’t know if I am ready to live this new/big life I have been seeking.

Let me remain small! I can hide beneath small. There are no expectations there. From me. From anyone.

Note: Change is scary. Change is necessary. Is we all change. Too many are fighting to keep things the same. Seize these moments of change. They are changing you in new and exciting ways.

It used to be an uncomfortable while life changes around you and in you. I have learned to be comfortable while being uncomfortable. I no longer look for results. I accept what happens after I try. As long as I did my best I am good with that. I am good with me.

All we can do is all we can do. Present your best self. Some will receive you. Others may reject you. That’s not your worry. That’s not your fault. Be okay with the result of your try.

Remember that you take your steps with The Universe. You don’t walk alone. You don’t try alone. Your voice is necessary. Let your voice be heard. Someone has been waiting to hear your voice their whole life.

You don’t need a cheering crowd to enjoy your game. Enjoy every moment. Win or lose. I no longer care if I get a trophy or not. I no longer need a cheering crowd. I no longer worry about winning or losing. I just want to try and see what happens. I just want to see what I can do. I want to see how many mistakes I can make.

Not anymore. For, I have learned to call failure my friend. Failure has shown me I am NOT my mistakes. Failure laughs at me and urges me to try again. And again. Still again. Until? Why, until I have mastered the thing! Or, til it has mastered me.😄

Don’t be afraid to fail. Laugh and keep it moving. We got thangs to do! This world would have you chasing clout and things. Ha! You don’t need clout and things to matter. You are already priceless!

Be encouraged. Don’t give up yet. Your time is coming. Until then, help someone else through their hard. You had best believe you are loved and not alone.
